Jord’s response around clients aligning to your philosophy is exactly why I would say here

If you are comfortable with a broad spectrum of approaches, go for it, but from the question, it doesn’t seem like you’re well equipped to manage these other approaches, so for me it’s a case of, they hire you for what you bring. So it’s your rules (largely). If not, no issue, pass them on to another coach.

    Legs this evening

It was a late one, but had a really good go at it, knees were behaving, really pleased with execution across the board.

Just finished food prep for tomorrow, and about to cook my last meal , then sleep time

I agree with Clare, very much depends where they are coming from

Also prudent to see what your bloods are reporting, and if anything needs to shift with your lipids …. Not that that is e timely down to fat consumption of course.

Really good arm session this afternoon, I can’t have any complaints with any of my sessions at the moment, which is a brilliant place to be for me

I’ve got my meals sorted for tomorrow’s rest day, and I’ve got one meal left for this evening, then it’s an early night before another long long week starts

    Hi mate

I would have my session plan, and then have a number of variants for each exercise that can be reasonably considered “like for like” should you need to deviate from the initial layout.

You can still record what you achieve on each of these variants, and aim to improve each time the movement is revisited

For me, the big essential here is being able to work legitimately hard, all the way to failure.

You may not have the perfect consistency, but there is nothing preventing the following of a sensible movement order, nor is there anything preventing intent and execution

    Get after it mate

    Really good push session today

Shoulders continue to behave, but then I continue to be sensible with my movement choices and with my rep ranges / who knew the two things might be linked 🙄

Just about to crack on with some meal
Prep, and a couple of meals still to go tonight. Then a good sleep is the plan

    Arms tomorrow

    Leg day today.

Really appreciated the day off yesterday, very much let me hurt myself today!

It’s been a long week catching up on work, but I’ve really enjoyed my sessions, and I’ve got a good weekend of training to look forward to

Just having 30mins of quiet time, then my last meal, then a good sleep

    thanks for the responses!

I haven’t had an mri done yet, the bursitis was diagnosed by a radiologist who did an ultrasound and x-ray of it, they also inserted the cortisone under ultrasound so it was injected in the right place. On the ultrasound, they saw that it is only inflammation and no tear or problems with the tendons. Side laterals and mobility exercises do not hurt, is it ok to continue doing this? Or would this still make the inflammation worse?

I’ve also heard positive things about shockwave, this is definitely something I’m going to check out.

    Thanks!

Where are you with the shoulder mate?

Have you had any additional treatments? If so, how have you responded?

Where are you with impact to training ?

Rest day today after a long stretch of back to back sessions

That will be back on legs tomorrow evening.

I’m just sorting tomorrows meal prep, and then I have one meal left this evening before it’s an early sleep

Bodyweight is holding constant, I’m very easy and comfortable at this weight, so will hold here whilst I try to creep strength up
