Rested today, I had expected to have kicked this chest infection way more over night than I have
Got my last meal in cooking now, then an early night to try to get on top of it
I’ll judge tomorrow as it comes, should be legs , but I may give it an extra day depending on how this recovers

I’m with Haider and the gang, meal one seems the obvious place to add in mate
Let us know what you opt to do

Back session today, and still not brilliant with my breathing, which was a bit of a leveller
Got the work done none the less, sorted food prep, and now having a small bit of quiet time before last meal and bed
Tomorrow is a rest day, then it’s back to legs

Thanks to all of you for the comments. Actually I’m not in a deficit phase atm but as Sasan said the demand for the movement is high and right after the main compounds it takes a lot also mentally going into the sets. Will give a run to the SL press, also the split press if I understand correctly is what I call a b-stance, is that correct?
How is this going mate, was it a good choice? Is it giving you what you need?

Good session today. Still feeling a bit crappy so I switched things around and did arms today to give myself an extra day.
Back tomorrow afternoon, and I’m looking forward to getting it done
Just on my last meal now, then sleep time

As always a really balanced response from Kuba, and some invaluable coaching (life not gym!).
With tht said, there are lots of ways you can programme training to progress, but some will be far less effective than others. Make good decisions for the goals you want to hit.

Rested today, which was wise, this chest infection or whatever it is seems to be peaking.
Very much wanting to train tomorrow so hoping I kick it tonight
Just on with my last meal and then sleeping

Definitely time for a break. A lot can be done in a week though, so don’t try to preempt two weeks off
What I would say is, let’s make sure you don’t end up in this spot again – utilise your deloads.

Really nice push day today. This cold/man flu is starting to bed in, which is less than ideal, but I’ll rest tomorrow ahead of back on Saturday
Just on with food prep and my last meal and then very ready for my bed

Totally agree with the guys, you can only do what’s applicable to you.
Don’t worry about what a study says, there are so many variables you can manipulate to fit a split that gives you what you need.

Leg session done and dusted, but a super late one
Actually very happy with this evenings session, although I’m starting to get ill again
Probably not a shock. Stressful few weeks and not enough sleep. That will be the same again tonight , but it’s a busy period, so head down and on we go
Just about to get my last meal and then sleep

Absolutely with Jord here mate. Set up and line of pull will be everything
He that right and consistent, then load and work to the normal progressive approach.

Yesterday was a rest day, and a well timed one
I feel like I’m balancing training well at the moment through a particularly high volume period of work. I’ve got a good sense of what’s burying me and what’s letting me press on
Today was arms after a long day down in London, but joints feeling really good and some targetted work well done
Just on with food prep and my last meal before sleep. Another busy day tomorrow, but wouldn’t have it any other way

Totally with Kuba and Clare here.
The number of people now trying to elongate and even pace everything really takes away from the intensity.
But, as both have said, you want to be locked in and training the muscles you are aiming to train, so maintaining high movement integrity is very wise.

Hi mate
I like single leg press as an option, or if your hips shift a lot, split stance, understanding that’s of course not a true unilateral movement
