I love this from Hilly mate
Excellent planning and implementation here, but remember to apply this level of attention toon not only to the structure of your training and eating, but also to the application.

Gooooood but Kate leg session this evening
Sorted my food prep and now eating my last meal before I sleep.
Push session tomorrow and then resting on Wednesday
Not getting enough sleep at the moment, but very much looking forward to the Easter break

Hi mate
I’d echo the team here.
We are in a time where we are incredibly fortunate to have access to some very high quality products that keep us in a better state despite the additional strain we place on our bodies.
The whole point of this brand was Jord pulling together products that would make his life as an athlete better, and then making them accessible to others.

Arms session.
Yes yes, I know, but mine are tragic, and I actually want to grow them, so it’s staying.
Sorted all my food prep for tomorrow, had hoped to have kicked this illness, but I’ve not, which is highly annoying.
One meal left tonight and an early sleep is the plan.

Hi Louis,
Interested to understand when it happens?
If it’s not frequent, what leads to it?

Totally agree with Kuba, start a new movement with a load you can really connect and nail the execution. From there you can progressively increase session on session, but get it right from the off mate.

I trained earlier in the day today which has meant I can have a bit of downtime later this evening.
I had a good back session, although I think that will be the last one of this run before I shift to a more basic set up for a strength assault!
Eating and a bit of catching up on work , arms tomorrow!

Rest day today, got my steak going right now and then it’s sleep time
Got my back session tomorrow, and hopefully a bit of downtime, I really need to bounce the end of this chest infection.

Were you doing them before the deficit?
I’d typically steer away from anything that nails your recovery during a heavy deficit, but it depends where you are in that, and whether it’s most appropriate to phase out rather than dramatically stop.

Had a really good chest and Delts session this evening. I’ve made good progress with kicking this chest infection, I think a few more days and it will be done with
Just on with tomorrow’s rest day food prep, and this evening’s last meal , then it’s sleep time

Totally agree with Clare, I would switch a little earlier rather than on the eve of your diet.
Learn the split and your recovery needs before falling into a deficit

Leg session done, not easy with the tail end of this chest infection, but got the work done, and got it done without any complaints from my knees!
Just on with meal prep for tomorrow, and for this evening, then it’s straight to bed to try to kick the rest of this!

Hey buddy! Personally if I want to hit more hamstrings with a pulling movement I actually opt for heavy dumbell RDLs. I can really drive through my hamstrings and glutes with those a little more than a barbell!
Hey man, yeah I love a dumbbell RDL. Before understanding the benefits of sticking to exercises for prolonged periods of time I would switch movements about all the time and I got my dumbbell rdl up to the 60’s for 10 so I was happy with that but my gym doesn’t go heavier than 60kg yet so I was stumped lol. I agree the path the dumbbells take on an rdl works so much better than that of a barbell. [/quote]
Charlie, where did you get to with this mate? Are you in a good spot? Any vids or feedback you want to share ? -
Rested again today.
I had a work event until 21:00, and I don’t think legs with the tail end of a chest infection was the best pln – tomorrow though, it’s game on

Hi mate,
Agree with the guys here, some bicep stimulation is inevitable because you are using them to stabilise the elbow joint, but ensuring you aren’t active through the joint will go a long way to minimising it also.
I guess the other side to this is, is the bicep pump inhibiting you lifting?
