Agree with the gang here mate. Get your foot position right, and then get to work. Creep up session after session with well executed reps, you’re on the road to progressing!

    Really good workout today.

Had tris and Delts, and everything moved forwards very nicely.

It’s not really been a restful weekend, and straight back into a busy week, but it is what it is.

Food prep all sorted, last meal about to go down, then an early night

Ithinl regardless of whether it’s possible, it’s unlikely to be optimal.

What’s leaning you towards this being a good option for you?

    Excellent leg session today

I’m really happy with how these are going.

I’m remaining patient but I don’t think it will be long before I can introduce an axial loading squat movement

Just getting myself fed, then a bit of work, then some relax time

This has been well covered by the team, but to reinforce, picking up the education videos in here, and Jord’s YouTube channel will give you a really good understanding of what different set ups bring, and a logical order to work through them.

You will learn the importance of balancing frequency, volume, and intensity, which will serve you well in making independent decisions about your set up

Hmmmmmm. Not the session I wanted.

My right pec felt very vulnerable on the first rep of my first work set of presses, so I aborted.

It feels absolutely fine now, but I wasn’t chancing it. Subbed in some tricep movements and then went on to have some really good bicep work, so not all lost

Resting again tomorrow, then Sunday legs

    Hi mate,

As the team have said, it’s not a “no go” in general, but those who can’t comfortably execute it will sensibly avoid it for movements that better suit.

    Hi mate

I quite like this, but you will need to see how it works in practicality.

I think Haider has suggested a good start point would be two days on one day off

Also make sure the movements are good choices for you, not just the ones you’ve seen someone doing.

    Good job mate.

What are you doing in the way of working sets for each movement, and how are you structuring reps?

Rest day today guys, and well timed as I had an event to be at this evening

I’m just back and sorting meals for tomorrow, then food and sleep!

Back session tonight and managed to fight through despite what has been a stupid run of training.

I’ve now got two days off which I’m very ready for and will freshen me up nicely for chest & bi’s on Friday.

Just cracking on with meal prep and last meal for the night , then sleep.

    Hi mate,

Hard to say from that as we don’t have any insight into what the push and pull looks like.

Two days on, one day off is a pretty sensible apportioning of training days to rest days, but as the team have said, really hard to know your recovery capacity.

If your arms are really struggling, I think Haider’s suggestion is a decent one, as would be just having a separate arm day

Really good Delts and tris session this evening

Particularly happy with both variations of my laterals. Numbers up and no discomfort at all!

One meal left to go, then sleep.

Back session tomorrow, then a couple of rest days

    Hi mate

    What excites you?

4 days a week is a good number to find a balance between stimulus and recovery.

    Upper/Lower
    Push/Pull/Legs
    Yates Split

All really good options, but with where you’re at in your head, I’d pick the one that gets your juices going
