Excellent leg session this evening, they’re getting better each rotation at the moment. The movements are kind on my knees, and as a result, I’m able to work hard without hesitancy, which means I can start getting strong.

Rest day tomorrow, food is prepped, last meal just cooking , then sleep

    Hi mate

Did you mean no lower back loading in the pull session so you can be fresh and lower back load in the density session, or no lower back losing at all?

    Hi mate

What do your sessions look like? How many different iterations are you rotating?

    Excellent session today

Jord saved the day for me by lending me a set of gym pins to try which has changed the landscape of my SA Hammer Strength row. I think we will end up getting some good weight shifted on that over the coming weeks

    Session went

    Chest supported high row
Low pulley upper back stirrup row
    Hammer strength SA row
    Stirrup Pulldown
    Stiff leg deadlift

    Standing calf
    Seated calf

Food prep is done, two meals left tonight

Resting tomorrow and then legs on Tuesday

Two options as far as I see it

    1) Change gyms

    2) Just get really strong on the options you have, this nuanced resistance profiling is not the limiting factor for the vast majority of people

It’s been a good training week, everything has gone as I wanted it to.

BW is starting to creep back up, I was 309 lbs today, and whilst I’m not driving tht hard, I’ll keep an eye out if interest to see where that goes.

One meal left in an hour’s time, so a bit of a shut off, then feed, then bed

Hey man just got done reading your log, Im wondering how do currently use sets in your workout? In the basic top set/back off fashion?

    Three at the moment mate

Mid rep – loaded – back off

As I get strong I will drop the mid rep set

    Hi mate

I’m a big advocate of knee sleeves as a preventative tool.

I’ve recently purchased the Slingshot GANGSTA knee sleeves, which I genuinely could not be more impressed with.

If you’re coming from using wraps, you will feel more comfortable in a strong sleeve and can then work to a finer one over time if that’s your preference.

If you do go after a set the same, I find them a true fit to the sizing guide.

    Hi Domingo,

The pictures don’t give a complete display of your physique, but from what I can see, it looks like overall development shoukd be your focus, and your split seems appropriate to work towards that (obviously many many many other factors to consider!)

Really excellent leg session tonight, and again, reiterating how impressed I am with the Slingshot GANGSTA knee sleeves (I bought them, zero affiliation to Mark Bell or the brand)

    Prone leg curl
    Banded quad press (paused)
    SL press
    45deg leg press (paused)
    Ham hypers
    Standing calf
    Seated calf

Getting my last meal ready and then sleep. Chest & bi’s tomorrow

I too spend the vast majority of my sessions on my own.

That said, my very best training days have been with training partners.

For me, an excellent training partner elevates my training, training with someone that doesn’t really “get it” and care about my performance in my sets (and likewise, I have to care about their performance) is worse than training on my own.

Totally agree with Jord, even someone at his strength level wouldn’t need this long to shed fatigue, you’re not optimising your time.

Rest day today, I’ve prepped my food ready for tomorrow and have my last meal to go tonight

Legs tomorrow evening which I’m ready to roll for.

Going to be trying Pumpage for the first time on leg day, so looking forward to that with the high rep work!
