Hi mate
I genuinely wouldn’t worry about this. If they make your knees feel good, and allow you to work hard on the movements, stick with them.
Even a tight knee sleeve isn’t a ridiculous amount of support.

Good session this evening. Not particularly long in duration, but good work done
Two calf movements
Two delt movements
Two bicep movements
Two tricep movementsThat’s all it was, but it got the job done.
Weight continues to climb. Not really trying yet, it’s just all falling nicely into place
Last meal in, then bed. Leg day tomorrow ??

Hi mate,
Absolutely agree with you get some wrist wraps.
I’d recommend wrapping them about half way up your hand rather that just around the wrist itself.
Let us know how you get on

Rested up today which means I’ll be nice and fresh for tomorrow’s session.
Food prep is dusted, last meal sunk, time for bed now, Calves, Delts, Arms tomorrow

I find this very odd. You’ve got a coach, respect them and have the conversation up front.
If you don’t trust them, respectfully leave and seek counsel where you are invested in the direction they give you.

Back session today
Enjoyed this one, especially after a rest day yesterday
Low pulley stirrup upper back row
Overhand Pulldown
Neutral Pulldown
Yates row
Corner bar row
SG RDLResting tomorrow and then back at it on Thursday for a calf, Delts, arm focus
Just on with meal prep and feeding, then bed

Totally depends on the lift mate. 1kg each side on a leg press will have a dramatically different impact to 1kg per DB on lateral raises!

Studio beats 3 over ears. Really impressed with them. I’m not an acoustic connoisseur, but I like bass, so they fit the bill for me

It’s a rest day ahead of a pull session tomorrow
Another long day at it, but a good one.
Just sorting food and Supp prep for tomorrow, then it’s last feed and sleep

Hi mate
Well done on your successful block. What you’ve experienced is entirely normal. No matter how patient and meticulous, we will all reach a point of stalling.
What you’ve done is create a new set of movements. I personally probably would have been inclined to have chosen more distinct changes than subtle variations, but you’ve done the right thing in switching movements out.

Hi mate
You’ve pretty much answered this for yourself in my view.
No harm at all in having a block on the V-Squat as your squat variation. Nothing to stop you returning to barbell squat in the future.
On Max’s point, this will largely be determined by the machine itself and your femur length. If you’re getting good depth, you’re getting good depth.
Another alternative might be a Smith squat, or a heel elevated Smith squat.
Some good options mate, and ultimately the movements needs to work for you.

Really good push session today
My objective for this next 12 weeks or so is in line with that of medical professionals …. “Do no harm” where my shoulders are concerned
I have a new shoulder prep routine for all my upper sessions which feeds in during the session
Seated calf
Cable lateral
X-over press
Deficit push up
Iso press
Flat machine press
Dip machineReally happy with how everything felt, hoping this block puts me in a position to do something a bit more fun!
Home now for food prep and meals

Leg day dusted, and a good one.
Everything moved up, knees being good, happy happy.
SL Standing Curl
Prone Curl
Rear Kick
Horizontal Banded Leg Press
Banded Split Stance Leg Press
45 deg Leg Press
ExtensionsThree feeds left today. Some work to do but relatively chilled evening.
Push session tomorrow

Guys have nailed it as usual.
Only thing to consider is tht you will have less natural tension in your upper back the further forward your hands come on the straps.

Rest day today guys and a super long one working down in London
I’m back and fed and straight to bed ahead of legs tomorrow
