Good day today. Nice leg session this evening, but before that had a really good experience (in contrast to the last time!) giving my blood let.

In for push tomorrow evening, just sorted meals for tomorrow, about to cook this evening’s last meal, then head down

    Hi mate

For me it depends what your lifestyle allows. What does the 80 minutes out of your day stop you doing?

If the answer is nothing, great. I personally like having time away from everyone before I train, and the drive would work well for me in that respect.

All down to what your life allows mate – sounds a great facility though!

Rest day today. Long one at work but decent and I’m ahead of schedule for getting to bed early.

Just about to put my last meal in and then sleep time

Blood let tomorrow which I’m hoping is far more straight forward than the last effort!

Legs in the evening, but plenty of time to rehydrate and feed in between

    Hi mate

Good that you’re getting your bloods done.

It would be good to understand if your sleep quality changes when you’re trining and not?

Do you train in the evening and have a stimulant based pre workout?

Good upper session today. Significant jump forward in loading which has given me a good bit of confidence

Rest day tomorrow, then attempt 2 at blood let on Tuesday. Hoping not to get butchered this time around!

One more week and then starting to grow.

Salmon meal about to go on, then sleeping.

    Hi mate

As you move into the effective/stimulating reps (considered to be c5 reps pre concentric failure) you will recruit the motor units that don’t normally get challenged.

Whether this is a 5RM or the last 5 reps of a 20 rep set, the recruitment is the same.

That has to assume someone is going to true concentric failure.

    Some other considerations…

Can you nicely control a 5RM on an isolation movement like a lateral raise? Or are you going to start recruiting a tonne of trap to support the loading?

Mechanical tension does matter to a point. Sets of 50 aren’t going to have the same effect as sets of 10.

    Hope that helps.

Leg session today, with a bit of an additional shift toward hams

Knees felt really good today, I’m definitely encouraged by the trend

Upper tomorrow, looking forward to pushing a little harder there

One meal left for tonight , then sleep for me

Eval have done some content on the differences / strengths of blood draw over finger prick.

    Worth checking out.

    Hi mate

Out of interest, is the tear in the belly of the muscle, or at the origin/insertion?

    Pull session wrapped up.

Weights continue to creep up, no signs of vulnerability with it. I will remain patient, but it’s creeping.

Got my blood let booked in for next week. Hopefully it’s not nearly the disaster the last effort was.

Resting tomorrow which is needed. Salmon and eggs before bed.

Hi Luke, 4 meals a day should give you plenty of time between meals, so this is odd.

Do you have any particular food groups tht disagree with you?

Are you able to do any of your steps immediately after eating?

Do you use any digestive enzymes?

Are you struggling with signs of poor digestion/gastric distress?

    Push done tonight

Pretty good session, weights starting to move well now.

Few more weeks of getting myself sorted and I’m going to be in a spot to properly get after it.

Last meal tonight coming up and then it’s bedtime

    Pull tomorrow evening

    Hi mate,

As Clare has touched on, I’d strongly recommend looking at some of the TBJP health range

These were put together to cover everything Jord needed, and took the brain work (and finance!) out of taking 10’s of different supps

    That’s legs done

Very good session tonight. Knees weren’t as good as they have been, but the win was knowing how to accommodate.

Higher reps it was on the pressing, paused in the hole, job done

Sorted food prep, about to cook my salmon, then sleep – push tomorrow
