Hi mate
I don’t think this is uncommon, but like Oscar, I do lean towards continuous sets.
Try to stay disciplined and go continuously, you’ll find it easier to track.
That said, my personal view is that if you resist creeping the breathing pauses, it’s not a disaster.

Push tonight and not quite there. Still need this pressing option to come good for me, I’m working on it.
Everything else went well, but desperately want a compound option.
Food prep done for tomorrow, pull session on the cards.
About to eat my last meal, then it’s time for sleep.

In additionbb be to Oscar and Mike’s comments, looking at rep ranges and movement selection could be helpful.
I would encourage you to look at some of the joint supplements TBJP Nutrition offer. Genuinely turned my knees around from being unable to get up off the floor without heaving myself up on a nearby piece of furniture, to being back on track with some “proper” training. A long way to go, but transformational for me.

It was legs tonight and another really good one. Stronger across the board, less hassle from my knees, it’s all creeping forwards.
All good and Supp prep is done for tomorrow, last meal eaten and now ready for sleep
Push day tomorrow, if I can get a pressing movement working here, Thts everything I need lined up for the next stint 🙌🏻

Hi mate
These are typically very hard to monitor, and take a huge amount out of you.
If you’re in a position where you were aiming for 6 reps and got 2, I’d be stopping the set.
If you need a little nudge to complete the last rep of the set, fair enough, still probably want to keep those limited in occurrence, but doing half or more of the set with assistance is too much to be beneficial.

Rest day today and just wrapping up tomorrow’s food and Supp prep
One meal left for tonight and then back into 3 on the bounce starting with legs tomorrow

It’s good that you’ve adjusted volume down to account for the higher frequency, you will need to see how your performance manages now over an extended period.
It looks a sensible set up, your language around wanting to just lock in and get going is right – now just be relentless and patient.

Very very good upper session today. Feel like absolutely everything but a press variation in push is lined up now
One more week of consolidating movements, and then it’s a big old strength push which I’m feeling very positive about.
Two meals left this evening, food prep is done for tomorrow which is a rest day, then I’m into legs on Tuesday.

Hi mate
What have you been doing to date? Do you have any gauge on how that volume will work for you?
I’d probably add a hip thrust into Lower B.
-
Legs today and another good set of progress. Reintroduced split stance leg press in place of my attempted Bulgarians
It’s allowing me more control, which with my knees as they are (albeit moving in the right direction!) it’s the sensible move
Couple of meals to go this evening, and another good sleep lined up before upper tomorrow

Hi mate
Probably Push, Pull, Rest, Arms, Legs, Rest.
My preference would be this way to keep triceps further away from the push session, others might prefer switching the order of legs and arms.
-
I agree with Oscar and Phoebe mate.
If you run into a situation where you have no high quality options, there might be a case for repeating movements, but on this split, where you can, I’d rotate.

Rest dayyyyyyy
It’s been some week, definitely looking forward to my last meal and a longer sleep tonight
Leg day tomorrow then upper on Sunday

Hi Daniel,
I think you’re referring to a pec fly with either dumbbells or on a pec fly machine?
Firstly, you make movements work for you, so if there’s a nuance in set up that takes pain away, it’s not a bad thing.
Second to that, I don’t think I know anyone that performs a pec fly of any description with locked out elbows.
Hope that helps

Pull session this evening – very happy with this set up, very happy with tonight’s progress.
Three on the bounce, legs, push, pull so resting tomorrow before legs on Saturday
Just sorted food prep for tomorrow, now sorting last meal and then sleep time for me.
