Resting today. Feeling disproportionately tired, and I do not want another session like yesterday evening, so moving days around to rest today instead of tomorrow

I got my meal prep done yesterday, so don’t need to do that when I get home later.

Two meals to go tonight, a good sleep, and a big pull session tomorrow

I agree with Clare here mate, upper/lower is a really good fit for your availability

After the two months it may well have been time to think about a deload?

It would be good to get a look at your session structures and will hopefully be to offer some valuable critique.

Utter rubbish push session this evening

Shoulders and elbows not playing ball today, frustrating as things had been moving in the right direction.

Not really sure what made a difference, probably just a consequence of being broken

    Regroup and go again

Polished off food and Supp prep, just one meal to eat tonight and then sleep

    Hi mate,

How many times a week is it realistic for you to get into the gym? And which days are most likely to be possible?

    Mixed bag this evening

Was able to work hard, but had to up rep ranges further as knees weren’t at the party. Bit disappointing given how things had been tracking, but I’m used to having to shift things about on my leg training

Just polished off my last meal and about to hit the hay.

    Hi Matthias,

Plenty of very very very good chests were built with predominantly free weights.

Don’t let a lack of Prime kit be a barrier.

Really comprehensive set of tips from Clare, but a reality dose from Ryan as well.

Agree with all of what they’ve said.

Rested today and just finished my meal prep and had my last meal of the evening

In for legs tomorrow evening, absolutely hammering the tbjp joint supps, so hoping that’s starting to make a positive difference

Sleep now, long day ahead when the alarm sounds.

I’d just be seeing this as a different set up with a different set of circumstances, so start your movements again from a new baseline, and progress from there

Pull session boxed off, and that’s a weekend of training wrapped up

Just got food prep sorted for tomorrow, still 3 meals left this evening

Rest day for me tomorrow and then back in for legs on Tuesday

    Hi mate

I really like rest pause sets for allowing a high proportion of effective/stimulating reps

However, as the team have said, this comes at a recovery cost

I certainly wouldn’t throw them in ad-hoc as and when you feel fresh.

They might be a good way of accelerating progress on some isolation movements, maybe a cuff lateral raise or a cable bicep curl, but you need to be really conscious of the knock on this has with high frequency splits

Honestly, I would be inclined to just milk everything out of your straight sets, unless you have a really good handle on how you’re recovering, and a real need to play catch up with some smaller body parts.

Decent push session this evening after a chaotic day

Elbows are feeling a good bit better , but I’m being cautious with pressing volume for the next couple of push sessions

Pull tomorrow with some free rows im looking forward to

One more meal to go tonight and then sleep
