to me, it doesn’t matter what time of day you train…..the method I like best if carbs peri workout
so i would have carbs as its pre gym – my pre gym meal is whey, ground rice and fruit…whatever time I train this is my meal

is your training structured with too much lower loading?
are you holding water? – WHY? cycle? macros?

THURSDAYS are crazy busy
I had a push session….very good – strength up
im looking a lot denser now…which is needed and the goal!diet remains the same – training volume at its peak now pretty much as I can recover well etc etc
today I have PULL will update on that afterwards π
seeing some family tomorrow near the coast so all food prepped and ready – will be a nice day but a long old driveeeee

so popped to town this morning with mama Ingman
collected a present id ordered for my cousin

we plotted various events
dropped lady les at home
went to the supermarket
came home myself
waited for the severn trent man to come…he arrived….couldn’t read the meter – which is did tell the people on the phone…he left…
I ate
I took the pups for a walk….GLORIUS day today
I ate again
discussed PIES with Jordan…not a food ive talked or thought about much but a very broad topic it seemswork in between β¦. ‘GOING LIVE’ on IG so getting the qs ready for that
8pm TONIGHT!!
and that sees me to here….! planned out my whole training schedule til the show…..18 weeks 3 days….so that makes me happy…I have a few ‘forced’ rests which work out really well for a little mid prep deload…so I can now tell you what I will be doing on any given day between now and 9th june

firstly – ignore genetics….time and hard work account for 99% of this on the day to day levelso your goal – ADD MUSCLE AND STRENGTH
to do this IN MY OPINION, you will have to be on a very consistent diet – this does change year round for me….push up a little, but eat to my plan….then tidy up a little, still eating to my plan
soo yes phases are the best option never getting too far from condition maybe only about 15lbs from your leanest point.
as you don’t compete, you wont need stage condition at any point, so this isn’t something to factor in. and you must enjoy this…but if you want the goal…then it needs to be a structured processhope that helps? π

personally i would have an intra – and then wait and have 1 pwo meal
rather than no intra and cramming in 2
BUT best thing is try your method and see how it works π
