    pull day today – strength was very good – I think I can stick with the same next week again and progress

    1) What to you constitutes and defines a strong person, both in body and mind? Who in your opinion would fit that mould? – SOMEONE WHO CAN CONTINUE TO FUNCTION AND TREAT OTHERS WITH RESPECT AND NICITY EVEN WHEN THEY THEMSELVES ARE STRUGGLING OR IN A SAD PLACE….LOTS OF EXAMPLES

    2) How’s the baking business going? I feel we never hear enough about it. Obviously you have a lot of ventures, but know your true passion lies with creating indulgent bakes. – ITS A HOBBY NOT A BUSINESS AT THE MOMENT, BUT NOT LONG TIL I RETIRE AND WILL OPEN MY CAKERY 🙂

    I would just match the macros each day
    so on this day have larger meals as kevin said
    I wouldn’t cram them just increase them

    ie if my protein was 200 gram per day for example, on work days with 7 meals I would have 28g each and the rest days with 5 meals I would have 40g etc

    disagree on the training tbh

    I have plans written with various set ups – there is only a limited number of ways I would want someone to train

    so once I have established what I feei is best fo the new individual …I then use my plan and alter a little – ie shift a bit more to the shoulder rather than chest etc etc based on their development and goals – I can then also tailor it to the days they can or cant train – ill alter volume too based on what I predict, their age, experience etc

    then over time I can continue to tailor to suit best …but you cant predict someones MRV etc straight from the off

    new plans need time to be adjusted so they are fully tailored.

    I don’t ask an equipment list as such….as the gym kit is so so varied these days, and most kit is in most gyms…so I say that what I write is optimal and then we go through and make alterations if needed – I wouldn’t include anything specialist in a plan.

    I have a lot of clients….but I am very efficient so I don’t think the number is relevant

    I think the most important thing to consider is basically how honest that coach is with you from the off.
    I will happily reply and suggest that I am not the correct coach if im contacted by someone who I don’t feel I will be compatible with

    and also…sometimes it just doesn’t work out! as long as both parties are respectful, efficient and professional…I think that leaves us all in good stead 🙂

    few changes to regulate volume and ensure recovery

    incline press – 68kg per side x 5.5 – THIS IS THE MAX FOR ME NOW..I DONT THINK I WILL PROGRESS THAT NOW, SO I MAY ALTER RANGES OR PLACEMENT, NOT SURE ILL ADDRERSS IT NEXT TIME….set 2 – 50.5kg x side – 13 20 secs 5 – so I have dropped the forced and iso here
    hs press – same as above FELT VERY STRONG UP REPS AND WEIGHT
    flat DB with 5 sec in the stretch – rp – STRONG FELT GOOD
    upright row cable – rp – no partials of iso – FELT GOOD
    dual side machine – 2 sets, x 11, then dropped weight x 13 – NICE TO DO STRAIGHT SETS AND USE THIS RATHER THAN LYING CUFF
    rev pec – same as above – NICE AS 2 SETS
    single arm cable – rp – no partial or iso – GOOD TO USE SINGLE NOT DUAL AS IVE MAXED THAT
    DB preacher with a 5 sec stretch – 1 set – UP IN A REP
    abs – 3 sets

    I definitely cant win as in 1st place…that’s not within my scope right now
    that’s not pessimism that’s realism

    I no I am good enough to compete…I don’t know if I feel personally good enough – ie improved enough from Romania to present it

    so for me its not just about countless shows, or seeking experience, the question is, am I happy to show the improvements made? has there been enough?

    I think I just don’t feel good enough this year either….just a bit over whelmed I think, looking at other and wondering how I can get there
