Decided to take a rest and do legs tomorrow because 2 hours padel smashed my hips and lower back lol.
Padel was fun and good to spend time with cal since this was his last day in midlands as he’s moving to Kent. Sad day but fun.
Taking Faris shopping to the outlet mall tomorrow morning then it’ll be on with legs and cardio 💀

Busy day today. Padel was fun but didn’t hit me hard at all. Probably cuz I’m shit lol. But we will get better. Got it again tomorrow that’s why.
Pull was decent except the gym was packed with groups of kids on every exercise. 14-16 year olds hours at the local gym I go to. Bless them. Funny watching them reminded me of when I was young but was a bit hard to get on stuff so navigated it as best as I could. Upped volume a bit and it was decent. Cardio post workout and home for Iftar. Last few days now as Eid is on Friday ! What a month it’s been ! Nearly there.

So yesterday was another rest day needed so ended up having 3 in a row and today got back to it with a nice little push session. Everything felt great and was happy to be back in the gym lifting again. Pump was great didn’t go heavy just lifted well and and eased in. Last few days of Ramadan now so no need to do anything crazy. As then it will be full force and foot down to get peeled. Pull tomorrow but first it’s an early morning padel game with cal and Rhys and I can’t wait haha. Wish me luck. .

Forced rest day today after speaking to Zac and explaining how the last day went and how fatigued I feel so he told me to drop cardio and weights and chill. Got steps done and relaxed for the most part. Routine is about locked now after today. Tomorrow will be even better and done.
Going to see Zac tomorrow have a chat and a look and see what we think from there.

So wow. Another one of them days. You hear this a lot from me lol
Decided on the flight home and it was at 6.40 this morning so yesterday hit legs packed and out. No sleep until on the plane got maybe an hour. The flight was on the run way while we sat waiting for 2 hours because while we were sat ready to take off everyone got the safety alert on the phone so obviously that made it very anxious just sat waiting until it was safe to fly. 😅. They also take a different route home now so the 7 hour flight is now 9! Basically no sleep and still had to hire a car get home get sorted, cardio and finish steps. Food shop too and now I’m dead. Oh yeah fasted too an extra 4 hours because of the Dubai time difference.

Pull session today was another decent one. Flights still going ahead as of yet. Just doing what I always do and everything is ok.
Tighter again today and a new low too just not really seeing too much in the way of improving to be honest. Spoke to Zac he wants to leave things as they are until post Ramadan then drop the hammer. So I think he’s going to be brutal with me which isn’t fun but it is what it is. I’m ready. lol

I travel alot and always prep food and take it as it is just make sure it’s chilled and stays cool in a cool bag and it’s always fine. Did 17 hours Dubai to vegas like this absolutely fine too.

Not a bad day today. Ramadan makes days very much like any other but with a different schedule. So you have the whole day for work and steps and then the evening for food and training. So my days are literally that each and every day at the moment. Wake up work and steps. Work more steps. Cardio. Eat. Train. Eat. Sleep. Good push session that was anger and emotional fuelled because our flight we booked out to uk was cancelled but we have another booked for a few hours later so hopefully that’s unaffected and we can get away without any issues

Rest day today with a lot of work on. 3 new set ups, check ins and a business zoom call. Also had an off plan meal which was home cooked and I really enjoyed it. The meals I have now are so different to a couple of years ago it’s crazy. I eat a lot but it’s always good food. Home made jerk chicken with coconut rice and a couple of slices of home cooked pizza. Full to the brim though that’s for sure. Back to a push session tomorrow and see how things look and feel post food. New low this week. It’s slow but unsure how accurate. Probably around 1.5kg off since beginning of Ramadan with no further changes since the original drop in calories.

I train after 1 meal and it feels best for me too bud. I take my t3/t4 pre bed now to ensure it’s away from food a good 2-3 hours after last meal.

You need to try your best to treat this like you did the prep if you really want the successful off season. I’ve tried every way – balance, relaxing a bit, not tracking. Nothing is even close to fully locking in. It’s super hard but it’s worth it.
