I used to like ad ravenous and solgar digestive enzymes. TrainedByJPnutrition Insure is all I use now with carb meals as I just don’t need a digestive enzyme anymore.

Hey guys. Celebrated my birthday today with my other half. Walking around London enjoying some food and just having a good time. It’s been amazing. The perfect set up before I head into prep next month!! Really excited as you all know. Clocked up some steps today that’s for sure !! If you ever get to go to London you need to try whipped ???? amazing !! Back to the plan tomorrow push session will be getting annihilated !!

Remember guys every training system works to an extent. Just have to progress it. Although I genuinely believe nothing will bring about results like the progressive overload style with a load and back off system. It’s all down to preference end of the day. I know guys that train with volume and grow and look awesome. I guess it’s down to what you think works best and what you enjoy!

Go and see a good physio mate. You’ll more than likely be making it worse if you keep trying to push it and hit lifts. Take the rest and rehab it. It’ll pay off in the long run although not nice being out of action

The bottom line is calories in vs calories out is king. Outside of that your macro split is totally dependant on your preference. If your carbs are low I’d most definitely do as you are with carbs pre and post.

I personally don’t like either. I like a sustainable diet. Depending on your goals. A higher carb lower fat on training days and a lower carb higher fat on rest days.

Excellent leg session today !! Improved everything. Strength reps and form. Banded leg press has about come to the end, I’ve got as much weight on as I can and now onto the blue band rather than green. So tomorrow is a rest day and a day out round London so that’s gonna be fun just exploring chilling and eating just me and the good lady as it’s my birthday Wednesday so we’re going to have tomorrow as the day of celebration.

I never count veg in my 0 carb meals. My go to is 5% beef, eggs, egg whites, red onion, tomatoes and spinach. Seasoned with some steak seasoning and all spice

I think the ready to drink shakes have a lot of ingredients that the powders don’t. The quality of these rtg drinks aren’t going to be anywhere near as good as a whey isolate powder. I’d be looking to find one that tastes good and mixes well. It’s a way of getting good quality protein in, that’s how I’d look at it. Not how can I make this taste as nice as possible.

Physique is coming on nicely and you seem to be progressing really well, wouldn’t know you had surgery a few months back. Are there any movements that you still don’t perform or are extra cautious with?
Woah, your boy’s growing up quick. Can imagine it’s crazy how quick they grow up. He’s getting to that age where the personality really begins to take shape and interests come out. Sounds like boxing is already on the radar.
Did you ever get down to the bottom of what made you sick for a day a week back? Seems it was literally just a day and then you were back to it.
Tut tut, leading with your ego on the last session haha. Was talking to Clare today and especially in the depths of prep, you want to beat the logbook to really keep hold of the muscle. Unfortunately form can slip a tiny bit so looking forward to after comp starting the rebound right and having a mini reset to assess.

Haha i know mate. Crazy ! Been to legoland today ! Yeah he’s a cool little dude tbh. Loves all sport and just being a boy which is awesome.
No idea bud tbh. Just a strange one. Happens every now and again!
Haha yeah mate. Every once in a while it takes over !!! We all do it ! Yeah mate tbh I cannot wait for prep and have the days where I’m challenging myself even more so in the gym. Seems to bring something out of me and always makes me excel and become a little stronger. A little more nutty and zoned in to my sessions.
