Such a positive day today, woke up a bit later than usual and then went straight on my stair master to do my 20mins cardio. Which really cleared my head this morning, even though I did look at the time a couple of time’s, I have missed it a little.
Took Ted out for a longer walk than usually but he resisted and sat down after about 15mins, so had to trick him by dragging him to park and let him run around.
Trained push today, I need to remember that I have more output at the moment as I was annoyed that I couldn’t go up on my weights today but I still managed the same weight and beat a few reps so still happy. But normally I don’t do as many steps or cardio so obviously my body is going to be a lot more tired.
Check in day tomorrow, so hoping there is actually some changes starting to happen.

Personally I feel a stiff leg deadlift or an RDL, then maybe a high and wide leg press — are the best hamstring exercises for thickness.

My mindset is all over the place this morning, really struggling I’m focused and determined to get on that stage in Alicante and smash it but feel like my body is failing me. Stepped on scales again today to check in – I know it’s not a weighting contest but my weight has gone up to 8.13stone my food has been dropped and steps been upped any no change whatsoever which is so frustrating, but then these are sent to test us.
So diet has now changed and cardio has been added in to 20mins 6 days a week on my stair master. Which I kinda like as I love a good cardio session in a morning so think that will clear my head now I have that in. (Strange I know)

Need to get some structure in your diet really to see if the change in diet and regular exercise bring the stomach fat down. Then re-assess when you’ve had structure for a couple of weeks

Favourite training day today Leg day… absolutely smashed them today, easier to push yourself when your training with someone who pushes themselves also.
Went up on a few exercises but kept the form and slowed them down to keep the tension on my quads. Feeling a little more tired than usual, had a nap before the gym to try and perk me up.Haven’t done much today, took Ted for a walk this morning to get my steps in so I didn’t have to do it after the gym. Had a posing client this morning at work, which I do really enjoy teaching posing especially to people who actually want to learn.
Just got back from the gym and had the nicest bath to hopefully ease my legs for tomorrow, put a mountain of Epsom salts in ?
Checking in tomorrow, hopefully my weight has come down as it’s been all over the place at the moment think my body’s stressed as it always hold water when I have a food drop then it settles back down again which is really annoying.

If it’s just the raspberries that is causing you digestive issues then personally I would either switch the fruit or take it out as it wouldn’t make too much difference anyways.

Well today has been frustrating, checked in this morning and my weight has increased ??♀️
I don’t understand at all, as my steps are higher food is lower and I’m ticking every single box possible to get perfect for this year and have been doing since March. Really upset with it and can’t think what it could be at all. All I can think is I’m stressed as I do hold onto water a lot when stressed it showed last time before the deload.
Worked this morning, then went for some treatments done this afternoon then spent the rest of the day watching cricket, as my brother was playing an important match I’m now absolutely freezing and can’t wait to get home and have a nice bath and relax.

Doing your cardio first thing on an empty stomach is the best way to do it personally, as you don’t want to be doing it around your training as you will waste the energy on cardio rather than in the weights session.

Love Fridays at the moment, I’ve purposely rearrange my diary so that on a Friday I can have the afternoon off. Which is great because it means I can get all of my jobs done so that I can kind of have a weekend.
Boring jobs like food shopping, dog walk and cleaning the house! ?Trained as well today at Ultraflex Rotherham, because I had more time was able to go there as I like the equipment more, I do try and go there on my Pull and Leg days as the back equipment has more variety then the other ultras.
Nothing special today, no personal bests but not looking for that at the moment I’m 4 weeks out on Sunday so just trying not to get weaker, trying to still keep the strength but lower volume so my body and recover quicker. Steps have increased to 12,500 so took Ted out for a longer walk than usual now he actually wants to walk! Which is so much easier but he doesn’t like getting in his harness so I have to chase him around the house until I catch him, he’s bloody quick! ?
Check in tomorrow morning and a rest day I’m in need of. Keep you updated tomorrow.

Checked in this morning weight has gone up slightly so steps have been increased to 12,500 a day which is easy for me to do as I’ve been purposely trying to sit down at work so I don’t go over. Happy with my current shape but I am now wanting to start seeing the changes and get leaner for Alicante as I feel like I’ve been on prep a long time.
Had a busy day at work today, quite a few clients this morning and evening only just finished. I do love doing personal training though, think it just like talking to different people and seeing the difference that it makes to their lives when they feel good about themselves.
Push session today went to Normanton Ultra, it’s closer to home so easier to get to when I’ve got a hectic day. Felt really tired today, wasn’t able to go up with my weight but stuck to the same weight and hit the reps or went good which I’m pleased about.

Totally agree with Jimmy… don’t be in a job that you hate it just makes you miserable.
I’d do it slowly if your worried financially, maybe get yourself in shape and show of the progress then you should be able to get clients that way. Then make sure you have enough clients to be able to support yourself.
May take a while but don’t be in a job you don’t like, been there and it’s awful!

Rest day today and it is well and truly needed, absolutely knackered today. Booked myself in for a massage and it was amazing feel a lot more relaxed and my legs feel loads better as they just felt really heavy and tight.
Worked this morning, had a few clients then chilled out at home. Not much else to do today other than take Ted for a walk and do the food shopping.
Managed to get myself a brand new car, so excited to pick it up. Since I’ve got my driver’s license back me and my partner have been sharing the car and never realised how hard it is to do things when your trying to plan around each other. Hopefully it’s coming next week just waiting for a phone call 🙂 Exciting…

Totally agree with Joe, need to add cardio in slowly so weight creeps of not drips too quickly as you don’t want to be losing muscle just BF. So I’d gradually increase maybe start with 20mins then track this every week and if you need to increase by 5 mins a time so that it’s slow rather than jumping straight to 40mins

Filmed today with @megansylvester and @kamara-graham it was Leg day, we haven’t filmed this yet for the site and we haven’t trained leg together for a while because of working hours and busy life’s so it was a good session, love training with people who are as motivated as I am.
We really pushed each other and I can definitely tell as my legs are dead, I will be aching tomorrow!I’ve attached the training log that we did below so you can have a look, we did a few different movements that I’ve not done before like the Precor leg press, which gets your quads a lot more than your hamstrings so I found I had to drop my weight down but definitely felt the difference so going to put that movement in on my leg days now.
Other than that I chilled out this morning and took the dog out for a walk and did some client check ins. Just finished work now and had to teach a HIIT class which was hard when my legs are so dead, but I managed through! ?
Checked in this morning as well, all going well Kuba is happy where I am at and it’s just time to get lean now. Can’t wait to get stage ready!!

100g FruitI’m on my first rest day of the food change and I’m feeling the difference in food today, but it’s all in order to get to where I want want to be. No pain no gain.
Legs are dead after yesterday’s session so made sure to rest up today, had clients this morning and went car shopping my new car arrives in 2 weeks so excited haven’t had my own car in about 3 years since my licence was taken off me because of my epilepsy so very proud of myself that I’ve have been seizure free.
Not much to report today, resting with my feet up this evening and had a lovely bath. Filming tomorrow for the site and it’s leg day so definitely making sure I’m resting!
