    Agree with the gals here!! It’s hard I’ve done the same thing you’ve just got to get back to prep mode get back to the mental state you were in on prep x

    Checked in this morning no weight drop as of yet but I know that it will come my body is so stubborn when I start dieting and it’s so annoying but I trust the process and it will happen.

    It’s been rest day today had a busy day been at work this morning then came back and had a nap as I’ve been really tired lately. Afterwards felt so much better was able to get some work done before going back to 1-2-1 PT this evening.

    Looking forward to this weekend as I’m going to the 2bros show to do meet and greet which will be good.

    Today has been better starting to get into the swing of things, I am used to my routine as it hasn’t changed in offseason there just more to do in a prep. More steps, more posing just need to figure timings out as I do a lot of work in the laptop now with doing online coaching so realising that I need to get up and move will be an adjustment.

    I have trained today it was upper day and unfortunately pulled my nail again so annoying my traps are getting so tight and I’ve been so busy I didn’t get change to get a massage last week. But today I’ve had acupuncture and massage and feeling so much better so make sure this is a non negotiable thing.

    First day of prep!! It’s been training day and I always think that the first week or so of prep is hard as the food has been pushed so high and your bodies trying to get used to the change.

    It’s been a hard day just not used to being hungry after so long off. But I’m so looking forward to seeing the difference in my body this year I want to get on that stage this year and look totally different I’m hoping my weaker areas have grown and I can start getting in those top 3 spots. Fingers crossed the hard work I’ve put in this past few months have been worth it.

    I’m so sorry to hear about your daughter I hope that she gets better I can believe that it is hard to train but also probably a relief at the same time.

    Reguards to your question personally I would do a lower a and b spilt like you’ve done here so you get most exercises in with both hip hinge and hip thrusts that way you get variety and you could also use different rep ranges in each session

    Checked in this morning very happy with my photos I don’t usually look at them as I have been fluffy but I have today and I can’t believe how much my legs have grown I’m so happy and can’t wait to see what’s underneath!

    Rest day had work this morning then acupuncture and massage which absolutely killed as my legs are sore from training. Also had posing clients this afternoon before going back into work this evening for some more 1-2-1 clients so it’s been a busy day.

    Full day of client work today had a lay in as I’ve been really tired lately which was definitely needed and I feel so much better today.

    Did client check ins this morning and took the dogs for a walk then went to the gym to do legs. Such a good session had loads of energy and weights went up loved todays session I think it’s my favourite one as it has all my favourites RDLS, leg press, hip thrusts all smaller rep ranges which meant I can really push hard and loved every second.

    Agree with Hilly and Clare speak to your coach but like Clare said it could be fluid that your holding on to after I had covid during prep I found I held onto loads and struggled to put my all into sessions because of breathlessness personally I would make sure your taking it steady if your feeling like this

    Back to work today I got up early and took the dog for a walk then went to work and did one-to-one PT Client also Trained today did of a body had a really good session although I seem to not be progressing on the shoulder press I think it’s because I’ve only doing it once a week so it’s a longer progression than usual.

    This afternoon I had to have a nap I was absolutely shattered from a busy weekend up and down London then back to work this evening just finish work now for my meal to eat and then bedtime early but at least I can sleep in tomorrow.

    Been a busy day today got up a little later than usual to have a sleep in them took the dogs for a walk, had my pre workout and went to the gym as I have had a MRI scan this afternoon to have to look at my wrist as I’ve been having problems with it since last may and there trying to figure out what wrong with it.

    This evening I’ve been at another athlete meeting at Rotherham which was good to be around all the pros again and get the busy back can’t wait to get on the stage I know I keep saying it but the fire is well and truly lit.

    Been an amazing day drive back up from London this morning I had to take a rest day today because it was an early drive back but managed to get home and make sure I got a food shop in before I went to watch rugby was a good game my favourite pass time on a Saturday day time.

    This even I’m just chilling out with the dogs watching films as I have a MRI tomorrow morning to see what’s wrong with my wrist as I have been having trouble with it since may hopefully getting the results back in a couple of weeks.

    Rest day today, but had work this morning along with teaching spin then acupuncture straight afterwards as I’ve been getting headaches again but not too bad.

    Travelled down to London this afternoon to help with athletes meeting for 2 bros absolutely loved it I love being in the stage environment it’s being back the buzz that I have for the sport and I can’t wait to start prep and get back on the stage as I feel like it’s calling me.
