    So steps have decreased to 8K nothing else has changed Kuba wants me to stay nice and lean leading into the show as the feedback from the judges were to become a little bit tighter in the back shot and to spread my lats out a little bit more in my posing.

    Today has been messed are still on quite low food so I just pushing away try and just getting through each day had work this morning which is the last work day until we fly on Friday also done my packing so that I am fully ready for Friday and then spent the rest of the day trying to relax and not go over my steps which I have ?

    Steps have decreased today down from 12K to 9K no other changes have been made as of yet. Starting to get tired which is usually the case before a show I need to make sure I rest when I can just work is so busy at the moment so trying to catch up.

    Down to 1 working set at well today in training sessions it was glute day enjoyed the session it was as followed:

    Banded RDLS
    High and wide leg press
    Bulgarian spilt squat
    Hip thrusts
    Single leg curl

    X1 working set of 10-12

    Rest of the day I spent making sure that I had everything for flying getting the few last bits. Now I’m trying to relax as I haven’t got work this evening just one more day of work then chill.

    Checking in every morning this week no changes today as of yet everything is on track and on plan so no changes have been made so far. Just keep pushing away only 6 days left!

    It was upper session today log book will be below I’m on back off sets at the moment so basically 2 sets of 10-12 or 12-15 reps always keeping one in the tank basically just a pump session to get the blood flowing no drastic lifts as I don’t want to retain water or injure myself as I’m so close to show.

    Had a bit of a weird day a few 1-2-1 clients have cancelled so been doing more online work today to try and catch up before going away. Feel like I’m in limbo near a show as I don’t want to be over doing things but at the same time I hate sitting down.

    Personally I would eat once you’ve done your cardio as you need to also make sure your getting your meals in regular

    No changes today for me just keep pushing forward with everything. Really happy with how everything is going at the moment it’s been rest day today, so been relaxing most of the day.

    Had 1-2-1 posing clients this morning at work then been for a nice walk with the dogs and started packing for Budapest to make sure that I had everything. Just a few bits left to pack then I’m all sorted.

    Not much else to report just relaxing and making sure everything is ready can’t wait to go and have a bit of a holiday abs of course get back on stage again.

    Another check in this morning still the same weight and also the same weight before the last show too. Can’t believe it’s only 8 days till the next show looking forward to getting back on stage.

    Today was the last hard leg session before next week getting into back of sets. Was a hard leg session today feeling very tired and I’m struggling on the low food but I know that it is worth it not long to go before show day and this is the last one of the year. Still managed to be able to get the same weight out of everything and even went up on the reps, made sure my form was 100% as well as I’ve been going a lot slower on some exercises to concentrate on my glutes and it’s definitely been working as my glutes have been on fire for days.

    Going to start packing tomorrow for Budapest too giddy not too start 🙂

    With my client I look at the top 3 with what Hilly has said. If there weight has stalled or performance in the gym I will slowly start to increase until you see a change. Hope that helps

    Online client checking day for me today really enjoying doing Online Client work got a really good bunch of people who are getting on with everything which makes my life 100 times easier.

    Checked in this morning everything is on track this time next week I will be in Budapest and I cannot wait to get there. Theres no changes as of yet still on the lower food hopefully will be starting to reverse diet into the show in a couple of days probably just need a couple of pound off to make sure I’m 100% ready.

    It was upper session today not feeling a strong at the minute because I’ve been on lower food but still had a really good session and had a really good pump. Been practicing my posing a lot more before and after training so that I can make my routine a lot sharper this time.

    I’d use softener type sod curls if they have them in the gym you have laying/seated and single leg you have a few different options but I would definitely get to the route of the problem to see if you can carry on with compounds

    Rest day today everything aches today from training past couple of days. Been training really hard and can’t can definitely feel it.

    Had a good day checked in this morning still on low food until otherwise in a good position at the moment back to stage weight so we just keeping this study are had work this morning then went for a facial after work.

    Other than that just the food shop again and been out for a walk with the dogs. Had work this evening then been doing other client work also just back to normal day stuff until Budapest next weekend!

    Back to 1-2-1 PT this morning and afternoon I have realised though today that I can’t stand moaning clients I do much prefer my inline clients but hoping to build these up so that I can do it full time.

    Had a couple of cancellations and no shows which annoys me as I could be doing so much more with my day when that happens.

    Trained glutes today felt really tired and hungry as the weight dropped by 3lbs this morning so definitely felt that! Still had a really good session dropped my weights and concentrated on my form and tempo a lot more and it’s definitely work as my glutes are killing me now.

    Spent the rest of the afternoon going for a nap and sorting the house out before heading back to work. Just finished and relaxing on the sofa tonight watching a film.

    Personally I prefer to squat either with solid shoes (metcons) or vibrum as I feel more stable but if your getting the right mobility with the shoes there’s no need for a platform like rich has said

    First day back training after the show was such a good session got such a good pump. Really enjoyed being back in the gym and training like normal back to usual training until told not too so I reckon it will be the rest of the week then back to back off sets before the show.

    Online client work today but been busy all morning and afternoon with them. Glad to be back in my own bed last night had such a good sleep and felt so much better this morning.

    Also had acupuncture and massage today as well which helped loads as I’ve been getting my headaches again I think because I was tight from the show. But feeling loads better after today back to normal work tomorrow which will be nice to get back to my usual routine. On 12K steps at the moment which is easy as work but not so much at home so been out on a few walks to make up for it.
