    Leg day today!! Had such a good session hit all the weights from 2 weeks ago and was able to go up a little as well on the Cybex hack as well. Feeling loads better as well although it is absolutely boiling when training but I’m not complaining about the sunshine it nice to finally see it.

    Been a very busy day at work as well had clients all morning and this evening just chilling out with my puppies I feel like I’m in heaven there both laid on the cold floor as there so warm bless them think I need to invest in a fan.

    It will depend on a few factors.. How many steps you are currently doing, how much food you’re eating, how much cardio you’re doing, how big you are and your lifestyle.

    If you’re currently doing a high amount of steps, then manipulating the diet maybe a better first option. If your calories are already quite low, then increasing expenditure through steps and cardio first will be more logical.

    If your job means that you haven’t got much spare time outside of work, then doing more cardio in place of steps will be less time consuming, as well as manipulating diet.

    I would calculate what steps (And cardio if applicable) you do on average right now and where your calories are at, then adjust one or both variables depending on your situation. See how your body responds and if you’re getting the desired results, stick with it until things stall or adjust some more if you’re not.

    Been a rest day today and checked in no changes to food plan or training for the moment I am still losing weight so we’re not going to drop anything just yet just to make sure that I am 100% back to normal after being ill a week ago.

    Feeling loads better have a little bit more energy but didn’t get a wink of sleep last night with my new little puppy crying the house down. So definitely an early night tonight and hopefully he will sleep through.

    It’s new puppy day!! I can’t believe that I’m getting another puppy so excited he’s absolutely amazing and Ted seems content with him also but I do think that it will take a couple of days for Ted to be fully used to him.

    Also had a post on client this morning who came up from London one of my online clients Who is competing in September for the first time it was amazing to finally meet her one-to-one as I’ve not met her in person before she’s looking really good and I can’t wait to see her on stage.

    Trained at Rotherham today did glutes and hams Had a really good session but it was just very hot so had to keep going to the fan to make sure that I was called down and didn’t overheat and have a seizure. Still training at 70% hopefully by next week I can push a little bit more checking in tomorrow morning.

    Pictures would be great, but I wouldn’t add on non essential fat as it pointless you want to try and still stay quite lean as these guys have said you can always do mini cuts to get hunger back or pull back the weight so your putting on decent amount of muscle on

    Had such a good day today but been super busy, had work this morning for a couple of hours along with client check ins afterwards. Also had the chiropractor which went really well I’m starting to see a massive difference in the way I can train my back and connect with my muscles a lot more.

    Trained upper today as tomorrow I’ve booked myself in for a full body massage which I’m going to try and do twice a week because if not I can definitely feel the difference when I train as everything hurts so much more and is harder to do.

    Been to watch my partner play rugby tonight they have won there 4th game in a row now so they are at the top of the league which I’m so proud of him for doing it also makes sure I get my steps in as I get so involved and get very giddy when there playing love watching rugby ?

  • Are you go with all these guys I think 15 K I would class that as very active and around 6 to 9 K would be but I will try and do in an off season. But totally depends on what job you have.

    So it’s official I have been invited to the 2021 UK Arnolds in Birmingham in October. Ian the promoter from 2bros drove all the way from London to Rotherham this morning to hand over me, Kam and Kubas invite. I am still really shocked and I can’t believe that I have actually been invited to the Arnolds it is always been a dream of mine to compete on that stage and my dream has actually come true.

    It was legs today legs still feeling really battered from the other day but still training at 70% this week and then back to 100% by next week blood test of comeback today and I am all clear which I’m really happy about just waiting for the MRI to doublecheck that my head is okay.

    It’s gametime ready to make this your account really excited to compete again as it feels like a very long time since I’ve been on stage. This is the longest time I’ve ever done off-season but I think that has paid off and I can’t wait to see the results when I lean up.

    Another training day today did Glute and Hams really happy to be getting back into the gym had a really good session didn’t push too hard still being working at about 70% but I can definitely feel my legs are absolutely killing me some today.

    Also had a doctor’s appointment today for my blood test they’re looking to see if I have an underactive thyroid as it has come up some tests that have been done at the hospital hoping that everything checks out okay but glad that they’re checking everything.

    Also being back at work today only had a couple of clients but nice to be back to normal just feeling quite tired tonight but early night back up tomorrow.

    First day of training today and also checked in with Kuba. I’m checking we are just taking this week steady just to see if I can get back into the gym without having any seizures and hopefully with my blood test tomorrow I will get the results back soon so I will know if there’s any blood clots.

    Hoping this week goes smoothly and then I can still carry on with prep there is 19 weeks until the Arnolds which still gives me plenty of time to be able to prep and be ready for the show.

    Training today was upper so mainly back and shoulders really enjoyed the session didn’t push way up to much just made sure that I could do the work that I was doing last week nice and steady training session this week just to not push numbers just keep ticking the boxes making sure that I’m okay.

    So hopefully this is the last day of rest day completely better since Tuesday going to check in tomorrow morning and then hopefully carry on with prep like I say I’ve been sticking with Vester food since Wednesday dropped a bit of weight so hopefully see how check in goes tomorrow.

    This is something I have got to live with now never going to be a stable epileptic so I might as well try my best while I can. Been to the hospital today got to go in for another MRI hearing has decreased but can’t do much about that.

    Wanting to still compete today and hopefully get things sorted soon.

    Starting to actually feel like a human being not feeling as tired from earlier in the week but I know there’s still time to recover over this weekend going to try and train on Monday back on plan since I’ve came out of hospital so feeling loads better mind is in a good place and I’m hoping to be able to compete again this year.

    Competing is something that puts my mind on a focus and sets me up into a right routine also keep me accountable. I will be checking in with Kuba on Monday to hopefully be able to carry on prep and carry on pushing to be able to do the Arnolds at the end of the year.

    Today we have been to see loads of puppies and decided that next Sunday we are taking home a new little boy called Hugo very excited gone from a girl who is scared of dogs to now having two. What am I like!!
