    It’s Teds Birthday!! I can’t believe he is one already 🙂

    So happened that I have had a day of work today which has been nice and I’ve been able to get bits done in the house that was desperately needed as since I’ve been back at work I literally don’t know where the hours have gone.

    Prep starts on Monday and I am actually so excited I want to see the changes from the hard work I have put in and hopefully I have done enough to place higher this year.

    Had a lovely morning woke up at usually time because I’m a sucker for routine – did the usual took Ted for a walk then sorted the house out and then trained with Phoebe at ultra. It was upper session today and I really felt the back exercises more as I usually do struggle with connecting my lats but got my position right today at last and really felt them working so happy that I’ve cracked it.

    Happy bank holiday!

    So it’s leg day today had an evening off yesterday so went for a lovely meal and had a few drinks was feeling a bit hungover this morning as I don’t drink ever so after a couple of rums my head was banging, I remember why I don’t drink. ?

    Decided to train a little bit later this afternoon to make sure that I had enough food in me and I also had a quick nap before the gym which made a massive difference the session went really well I was able to go up for most of my weights tried the new cybex hack squat Ultraflex which was really hard so I’m going to persevere with that machine and make sure that I can increase my way slowly.

    This evening I’ve just had a lovely bath given myself a special and now just watching a few TV programmes and relaxing for the rest of the evening as I’m back to work tomorrow I have got a very long day but I’m glad that it’s best day as well.

    Been Glutes and Ham day had a really good session managed to be able to do 320kg on the leg press today which means that my strength is getting back to what it was after a few weeks!

    Worked this morning with clients and then had a few 1-2-1 posing clients which I’m glad that I can get back to. Starting prep in about 2 weeks time so I can’t wait to get going and see what I look like this year after all this hard work.

    One more day of work before the bank holiday. Had a busy morning today with back to back 1-2-1 clients then had the chiropractor this afternoon which I definitely needed and feel so much better for it afterwards.

    Been to ultraflex today to train upper I can’t explain how much I’m enjoying training at the moment and I can’t wait to start prep. Had a good session felt strong been training on my own at the minute because my partner isn’t competing anymore and he’s playing rugby so been going to the gym on my own which is very strange for me but I’m getting used to it just need to reset my mindset and find people to help spot me ?

    Rest day today finally been able to get my nails done which I’ve waited for three weeks since the nail salons have been open. Had work this morning with a couple of clients then just started doing the tax for the end of year books so very boring. Apart from that been chilling at home resting for once rather than getting loads of steps in which I have been doing at work as I move around so much.

    Also checked in this morning no changes for the moment so just keep plodding along until prep starts in 2/3 weeks time.

    In offseason I like to drive home before I eat my post workout so I’m hungry so usually 30mins but I’m prep usually straight after training hahaha ?

    Glute and Ham day today and in absolutely knackered! Had a really good workout but because I’ve been so busy at work couldn’t get I. The right head space for the gym.

    I’ve been wanting to go back to work for ages during lockdown but I think I must have been living in a dream world and totally forgot how hard my job is ?

    Happy that we are busy again but I can’t believe the amount of people we have been having in the gym at the moment. Also because we are private it’s only personal training clients at the moment so when classes start again next month I’m going to be rushed of my feet plus I haven’t even started doing the tax year end. I love the weekends when I actually can spend time in the gym without rushing.

    So dreaming about the weekends!!

    Apart from me being stressed with work everything is going well it’s check in tomorrow weight has stayed the same for the moment and I’m trying my hardest not to go over my steps but it is hard being back at work and having a dog.

    Personally I don’t do any cardio in offseason unless I’m getting to fluffy as you want to be able to keep as much back before you do a cut or a prep as if your already doing cardio then you’ll have to up it even more and won’t have much to play with

    Had such a busy day yesterday was working from 8 am till 9pm had a small break in the afternoon which I went to White Rose shopping centre to take some clothes back that don’t fit me because of my big legs in off-season!!

    Had clients all morning back to back yesterday with a few posing clients in between really enjoying being back at work glad it was rest day yesterday because I was non-stop all day went over my steps as I can’t really sit down at work because I’m personal training people all day.

    I have booked to go out on Sunday for a final meal before I start prep I will be starting prep in about three weeks time so I want to get in a meal out with my partner and with my family before the hard work begins as this year I’m aiming for a higher placing.
