First glute and ham day at Ultra Flex, it was a tough session everything felt really heavy and different to training at work which I knew that it would be but I did really enjoy being back used the pre core leg press which I have actually missed found it difficult and wasn’t able to do the weight I used to be able to do but I’m sure that my strength will come back.
This morning I was working had personal training clients till 12pm then went over to the chiropractor which I definitely needed found out that my rhomboids don’t active very well which makes sense as I have a Y DB Raise on upper day which I really struggle to do so hopefully I’ll be able to build the strength up in that.

Another session at the gym today! Was the first time doing upper today at ultra, Ended up being a really good session I had to train later on this afternoon so it was really quiet so it was nice to be able to get on all the equipment quite quickly not really have to wait.
Could feel everything so much more so today’s session was more upper back and shoulders but with the types of machines that I could use like prime etc I felt my back working a lot more than I did when I trained at my work as we have limited equipment.
Rest of today I went to see my mum and took Ted for a lovely walk, just got back home now and I’m going to have my last two meals then head to bed early as I have an early start tomorrow.

First day of training back at ultra flex, was also filming for the Trained By JP site hopefully will be up soon really enjoyed being back at the gym missed the atmosphere and the people there!
It was leg day today Absolutely smashed legs really glad that I’m back at the gym it’s just silly things that I have missed like the seated leg curl and the single leg press, So glad now because I’ve got a lot of the same movements that I can now use different machines but I know that it’s gonna take a few weeks to be able to get back up to the strength I was before the gym shut.
Also had the copper coil fitted today which was absolute agony so spent the rest of the evening cuddled up on the sofa watching TV hopefully it’s not as painful tomorrow but I’m glad but it’s rest day I just need to be able to still work. I am happy that I’ve chosen to come off contraception are excited to see what changes it will make with weight loss on prep as usually it takes me quite a while to lose weight and I have to use a drop calories quite drastic to get the process started.

Hi James,
Personally I’d look at doing a Push Pull Leg set up. If you have 3 days per week to train this will allow you to fully hit each area to its full potential and have enough time between rotations to recover and go again.
That way you can also add in some isolation work along side the compound moves you’ve already implemented. That way you can work different rep ranges and stimulate more muscle tissue.

Gyms open tomorrow!!
I am completely back to work tomorrow and I’m very excited but no training day for me as it is another rest day.
I am now on my third rest day feeling very good I don’t feel achy at all made sure that I booked myself in for another massage today had a full body blade to make sure that I’m fully rested ready to train on Tuesday because I’m being filmed for the JP site as well and it’s leg day!!
Today I haven’t really done much because I managed to finish everything yesterday so today has just been relaxing and resting be on for a couple of walks with Ted and making sure that everything has been done before going back to work tomorrow can’t wait to get back to normal.

To lose body fat your going to have to go into a deficit you can’t not lower cals and expect to not lose weight. In offseason your meant to put on a bit of weight anyways but it doesn’t totally depend on where you are at currently to whether you need to do this at all

I never rest day today two more days before I can actually train at the gyms can’t wait for them to open.
Had quite a busy day today this morning I had an online zoom call then been at work and tidied and cleaned it all to make sure that it was ready for Monday morning that took quite a while because I made sure it was deep cleaned before anyone comes in.
This afternoon I’ve been finishing off my Level5 nutrition course which I have finally completed and waiting for it to be marked so that I can receive my certificate, So happy that I found the completed it took a while but it was very interesting and learn a lot from the course.
The rest of the evening I spent playing with Ted and relaxing watching films.
