    Happy New Year!!

    I would do a upper/lower split as your able to get more done also add in body weighted exercises and if you get bored keep changing it up all the time to add some variety

    Happy New Year ?

    Can’t believe we are back in January and starting a whole new year. Seems crazy and last year went by so quickly I just hope that this year we can get back to some normality.

    Had a lie in this morning, then checked in with Kuba he’s put me on a mini cut to keep lean and my body working well. Food hasn’t changed since the other day and cardio is still 25mins on a rest day. Just need to shift a little extra fat and fluff from Christmas and New year.

    I’m excited to see the new show lists and will preparing to be looking at shows for later on in the year. Really wanting to do America this year so hoping we can fly out later in the year as it’s a complete dream of mine to be able to go over and compete.

    Started the new year off right went to Ultraflex Rotherham this evening to train legs was really happy with the session pushed really hard and managed to go where on the leg press and also on the hack squat I also improve my technique and form on the hack squat making sure that I get a little bit lower in the squat so that I can use my hamstrings and glutes a lot more definitely felt the difference compared to last week.

    We have one at our gym which I have used a lot in lock down it’s a body max one it amazing a lot heavier than a usual leg press and Jack squat x

    Agree with Hilly…

    Have a carb meal before bed which will fuel you for the gym and also help with a good nights sleep then I’d start drinking the intra before you set of for the gym so it has time to get into your system

    Less busy at work today, so glad that our area Hasn’t gone in to a lockdown again was really pleased when the announcement happened. Don’t think I could deal with another lockdown with no gyms again, Only just getting used to my training plan at Ultraflex and would hate to have to go back to my gym and do different exercises. I know that I am very lucky to have my own space but it’s a lot different at the gym I think you can mentally focus a lot more than when you’re not on your own.

    Got up nice and early this morning did my morning cardio of 25 minutes still on the stepper then took Ted for a very icy walk this morning the whole road was like an ice rink and I felt like I was slipping everywhere.

    Had a couple of clients this morning then got back and went straight to the gym it was push and quads today the rotations are going really well as every session now I am able to push up weight. Especially on my legs which is a really good thing as that is one area that I really want to improve on for next year to make an impact on stage.

    Other than that I have a 10 week challenge that starts the beginning of January so I have 15 diet plans and training plans to write and complete before Saturday I’ve wrapped through a lot tonight got 10 done so I’ll have a bit of a rest and do the rest tomorrow, otherwise I feel like my brain fries!!

    Two of my clients can’t stomach veg at all and they have the veggie might and they say this helps erring there greens in.

    I would say greens powders are great for this reason but if you like veg I’d get it from fresh sources

    Snow day!! ??

    So I did have clients booked in all morning but my road was completely blocked of with snow and all of my clients cancelled… was already up and about so started my cardio then did my check in with Kuba.

    We’ve started a little mini cut for a few weeks to tidy things up so food has dropped here is my new plan:

    M1
    20g Whey
    75 g oat
    10g dark choc

    M2
    100g beef mince low fat
    250 potatoes legs and back day 350

    M3 pre workout meal
    80g cream of rice ( leg day and back ham day 100g )
    20g Whey
    100g fruit

    Intra workout
    20g eaa
    10g glutaminne
    Push day 20g sustain
    Leg day and back hamstring day ( 30g sustain

    M4 Post workout
    30g Whey iso
    100g cream of rice ( leg day and back ham day 120 cream of rice )
    150 fruit

    3 heck sausage 2 bacon
    100g green beens or broccoli
    2 bagel thins

    Same as rest day

    Actually really happy we are doing this as I want to stay trim and lean also Kuba wants to keep my lean this year to keep my body functioning good ready for prep next year.

    Went to the chiropractor again today doing twice a week until my body gets a little better and then back to once a month when everything has started to sort itself out.

    Personally I would get nearly stage ready then up food so then you know your going to be able to get stage lean in time. I did this and I personally loved being on a diet break I felt I had a lot more energy and was still able to push hard during this period of time

    Back to work today even though it’s bank holiday it doesn’t matter in the personal training world ?

    Gaz is coming over from Wales today to film Adam and I for my YouTube channel trying to get one in every month so I can start getting my name out there a little more. It’s also a training day so will be training later.

    Got to work at 8am nice and early had PT until 12pm buy now I have finished for the day so I am able to eat, train and do some posing after training rather than rushing and having to do posing at home. It’s a lot better doing posing at the gym as the lighting is better, the studio is better to practice in as carpet is quite hard in heels.

    Really happy with training at the minute managing to go up on my weights especially on legs which is brilliant as they need to grow for next year. Legs are killing constantly which means somethings working! Back to the chiropractor tomorrow which I’m looking forward to as my knee has been hurting me and can definitely tell I haven’t been in a week I’m really excited to see what changes I can do as I am really noticing that I’m struggling with flaring my lats which I never used to notice but because I’m aware of it now it’s starting to annoy me. Also the fact my back isn’t growing as much as it should with the amount of training I do with it is frustrating.

    So let cross everything to hope it gets better ??

    Time to take the Christmas decorations down ?

    I’m really sad or I have a serious problem with mess and distribution in my normal day life. I absolutely love Christmas but every time there clutter in my house it drives me insane and makes me feel like I have to clean constantly so I’ve taken everything down to put away the Christmas cards and I feel so much better now!!

    Good job it’s been a rest day because this has taken me all day to do. Got up early this morning did my cardio then went to white rose shopping centre to take back some presents that didn’t fit. Got some amazing Doc Martins for Christmas but I think Adam forgot I have massive feet ?

    Then did the food shop which was absolutely packed thing everyone and his dog was in there getting more alcohol for the next few days off… so happy to be back on plan today and not have anything to go to. I have really enjoyed these past few days but my stomach hasn’t been right since not being on plan.

    Filming tomorrow for my YouTube channel with Gaz so if anyone has any questions you want me to cover ask away ?

    Boxing Day another Christmas dinner with the other side of the family. For once I slept in then went for a morning walk with Ted had breakfast then went straight to the gym.

    Been to Adams dads today and had another dinner with everyone, got back home early and had an afternoon nap as I’m absolutely shattered from yesterday as I woke up so early to make sure we got everything done in the morning. Not doing much today apart from seeing family and relaxing tonight and put a film on.

    Gym went really well it was leg day, used the extra food from yesterday to good use was able to go up on weight on the leg press machine felt like I had loads of energy but now I’m absolutely shattered could use an early night to recover. Checked in this morning as well dropped 3lbs probably because I only really had two meals yesterday.

    Can’t believe it’s Christmas Day. Made sure that I kept to my routine, got up early 6.00am and then open presents, I feel very spoilt this year, did my cardio and the walk I usually do with Ted and my partner.

    After that went to go visit my partners family and opened presents and spent time with them. Got back home and got changed and went over to my mum and dads to have Xmas dinner with them. Going to enjoy my food today. Stuck to plan this morning then going to have a few drinks and a meal with family so to be honest my probably going to be under cals today with only having one main meal.

    Back on plan tomorrow going to train in the morning then having Boxing Day lunch with Adams family. So going to swap meals again to make sure it counts into my meals for the day.
