Actually feel a little bit normal today, checked in this morning can tell I’m holding onto water on my lower stomach and back think it’s because of the saline they use in hospitals. So hopefully that settles down in a few days. Happy with how this offseason is going so far apart from the little set back, food and training is staying the same for now.
Back on the cardio tomorrow 25mins only on rest days, been still getting up and doing steps in the mornings as it keeps me sane. Glad that I’ve been back to it today went to Ultraflex Rotherham today to train Pull, session went well weights have gone up in a lot of things. Going to the chiropractor tomorrow which I can’t wait as my legs are so tight I’m having a scan and results tomorrow to see what can be done with my lacking muscles ?
I know that my Lats don’t activate and neither does my hamstrings so hopefully these can be sorted so I can pose a lot better and hopefully my legs will grow better when I learn to active the right areas.

Was totally wiped out today went to bed really early, worked this morning and had another rest day.
Made sure that I didn’t do to much finish work at 12pm then I had some clients at work who are my online clients they’ve been doing really well with their training and posing so I just ran through the poses that they need to practice to make sure that everything was up-to-date with them.
Really looking forward to my clients compete in next year, really enjoy my online clients at the minute everyone is listening to everything I say and the progress that they’re doing is absolutely amazing.
The rest of the day I took Ted out for a walk to get a few of my steps in and also to make myself feel better I then did a little bit of work on the computer and then went to bed early to hopefully feel better tomorrow. Check in day tomorrow and hoping to train as well if I feel better.

To preserve muscle mass you need to keep an eye on diet. As well as making sure your weight training correctly you can still push up weight training wise if your in a calorie deficit need to keep strong when dieting to able to get the most out of it

Feeling a little better today made a conscious decision and had a couple days off training and also had today off work. Yesterday I literally spent all day in bed as I wasn’t well at all. Hopefully tomorrow will be a new day I’ll start feeling a lot better I know that normally it takes quite a few days for me to feel better after a seizure I’ve just not had one for that long so I forgot how I usually feel.
So not done much today went for a morning walk this morning just to clear my head and to make myself feel a little bit better took Ted with my father journey as he always cheers me up.
The rest of the day I’ve done a little bit of learning and organise my work diary to make sure that I’m all sorted for going back to work tomorrow. I’ve also deep clean the whole house as it has made me feel loads better tonight I am just having a meal off plan which Kuba has told me to. Hopefully back to normal training on Wednesday as tomorrow is a normal rest day anyway and I’m also very busy at work tomorrow.
It’s quite annoying that I had a seizure but I can’t help having them just got to learn to live with it and hopefully my body or recover and I’ll be fighting strong again.

So unfortunately I didn’t log yesterday as I was taken into hospital in York having a seizure. Woke up this morning in a really strange place but managed to get discharged from the hospital this afternoon feeling very tired seizures really take it out of me I’m very sleepy for quite a few days and also your brain doesn’t work as efficiently as it would normally. It can take up to a week for everything to be back to normal hopefully I can catch up on some well needed sleep.
The most annoying thing is how much your brain is so much slower than it normally is so it takes me quite a lot longer to be able to do any normal job so like getting up and making breakfast I forget what I’m doing and it takes ages to get things done.
Today was meant to be a training day but I’ve had today off and relaxed been on rest day food and have had a few extras of plan as I couldn’t stomach eating most food.
Going to try and train tomorrow I haven’t got anything planned so I am going to wake up when I can then start my day with a walk in the fresh air as I’ve been stuck in a hospital and inside all day so a walk is definitely needed. Haven’t had a seizure like this in over a year so quite upset that I have had one but you’ve just got to get on with it and do as much as I can. I shouldn’t have really gone out as I wasn’t feeling well in the first place so think I need to listen to my body a lot more.

Bulking season is the time where you can be a little bit more adventurous with foods personally I’d always stick to foods which you know that are easily digestible and foods that you’re actually really enjoy and foods that you can’t have in prep so calorie dense foods like cookies muffins bagels pasta these are all my favourites

Checked in this morning everything is going really well, enjoying my off-season this year keep having to remember that when I put weight on it’s ok as that is what makes you improve next year. Really learnt from last year that sticking to plan in off-season is the most important thing you can do in order to improve.
Going out for food tomorrow with friends which is something that I haven’t done in about two years so I’m really excited to be able to do that, Going to enjoy some down time with friends and some nice food.
Did my Pull session 2 today Really enjoying the different split that I have with training this year completely different to anything that I have done and I like the fact that I’m concentrating now in areas that I know that I need to improve on in order to get better.
Went to go see a chiropractor today as well I’ve never been to see one before and he has really opened my eyes into how the body works and different areas that I personally need to work on go in next week for a body scan and to hear the results from that afterwards to see what improvements for I need to do in order to realign my body so that when lifting weights and training I am able to do this to the best I can.

Got a busy day today with clients and house work that I need to do. Up bright and early this morning and did my 25mins of fasted cardio that I do one rest days then went for a fasted walk as well.
Had a long day at work today been back to back with clients all day, everyone’s come back after lockdown and haven’t done during the lockdown so basically back to square one with most people. We’ve been collecting food,toys and toiletries to give to the less fortune as I know that this time during the year is hard for anyone let alone with COVID being around now as well.
Aching a lot from training legs the other day which is a good thing at least it hurts in the right areas. Going to start with a chiropractor tomorrow it’s my first consultation so hopefully this will help my mobility as my hips are so tight, I need to start looking after my body more so that I can preform my best when training.

Rarely have a day off but today’s the day! Still got up at my usual time and went for my morning walk then managed to just chill out in front of the TV – which I can’t do, so I did the accounts at the same time. Like to be able to tick of boxes for the day, before going to Ultraflex Rotherham to train legs.
Was a really good session haven’t trained that split yet at Ultraflex manage to use a Precor leg press for different variations as I have legs every day I train so I’ve been trying to make sure that I use different types of equipment to hit different areas of my legs which is the benefit of been at a gym like Ultraflex as they have loads of different equipment I can choose from.
Then gone and done nice jobs of going to get my nails done and finishing off the Christmas shopping at white rose. Which somehow I managed to get all Adams Christmas shopping as well don’t know how I got roped into doing that.
Going out for tea with friends Friday which I’m excited about but still going to stick to my meal plan as it’s rest day so I’ve booked somewhere that I can get a nice steak. Like to try have time for friends and family in offseason as in prep all my focus goes into the show.

Good question and something a lot of people get wrong. I wouldn’t jump up cals straight back up to bulking cals make small increments to keep yourself in condition. Steadily increase cals so your body gets use to it slowly.

Make sure your doing some mobility work and stretching to help the tension in the muscles. You may also need a sports massage as you may be right in the hamstrings or glutes which could be causes your knee pain x
