Forward lean for a bit more chest, sit/stand a bit more upright for a tricep bias dip.
It’s just whichever you prefer I guess, I tend to feel everything (chest/tricep/front delt) no matter which way I do them.

Not best not worst news
Partial brachialis tendon tear, 90% sure I may not need surgery. Did rehab work already and peptides in

Did pull today , left side as normal right side row and pull down with Vulcan at the elbow and then pull down as normal then rehab banded work on bicep
Professor Ali who’s looking after me has been superb, X-rays mri and ultrasound all done straight away yesterday
If me or Cal are around the gym at the same time as you, just give us a shout and we’ll help you load plates etc.

You’ll have to choose your sacrifice – stay natural or use peptides, can’t do both bud unfortunately.

Depends to what extent you need more. A little bit more or considerably more?
What’s your weekly availability to train?
What’s your recovery like after sessions with what you’re currently doing and how much are you currently doing?
Are you training accurately on these areas already? Has your coach/PT gone through this already?
Lots to take into account before you mess with splits and redesigning of them.

Are your lifts progressing with that muscle group?
If not then you may need to look at the volume or reorder whete that goes in your sessions.
My lifts have been progressing but sometimes I’ll take an extra rest day because I just feel like if there a tiny sore there not recovered.[/quote]
So as the guys said, maybe it’s U/L time? If you switched to U/L/R you’d essentially get that extra rest day (per muscle group) programmed in. If you’re taking that rest anyway, you may as well see if you can up the work you do (slightly) and rinse that for as long as you can.[/quote]

It’s an answer that’s specific to you.I can’t recover my chest and hamstrings like I can my back, arms and quads, even if I did just one hard set so U/L is the split for me atm.
If I wanted to do a version of FBEOD I’d adjust it so every other session doesn’t have a press in it as that would benefit me, and only me.

When you’re an old boot like me, every session is getting nearer to me not doing this anymore and whilst that may seem morbid, it makes you want to nail it.
If your training gets you to your goal, you’ll need to view it like it’s an opportunity not a chore

Urs has an ability to grow, but as with a lot of classic athletes, they’re capped based on height. He’s had to be careful that he doesn’t grow too much in areas where’s he’s strong physique-wise and only leaving room to grow in areas where he’s a bit lacking.
Now the leash is off and he can just grow. Keone and Mike next?

Hi mate. I have tried both and am currently running the 2 sessions of each at the moment. I’m dealing with an injury that means I cannot hinge with loads big enough to progress so I no longer need 3 x U/L.
I did U/L/R x 3 for a year and saw mad progress on my weak points (arms, glutes and quads).
Reason I did x 3 was because I preferred to leave a gap between Lower 2 (SLDLs) and Lower 1 (hack). Lower 3 would be a ‘tickle a bit of everything + arms’ day.
Now I’m doing x 2. On Lower 1 I do a quad bias day, Lower 2 is hams and glutes bias. My only compounds are leg press and a hyper+hip thrust so x 3 is not needed.
Bear in mind the above is specific to me, and my upper volume is levelled out.

I suffer the same but in the right side.
Things that have helped:
– Spend 3-5 mins warming the joints (walking lunges with no weight).
– Doing ISO lifts before compounds.
– Compounds later in the session also exposes me to less loading so ‘same stimulus:less load’.
– Using the Joint Stack (massive plus for me).IG: @benners_23

In the session where I use the Prime Pinloaded Press first, I load it 250lbs in setting 1, then same weight in setting 5.
In the session where’s it is my second press, I’ll load it 220 in setting 5 and then same weight in setting 3.
I don’t log these against each other. I log them against their respective session.
As for Prime Pec Deck. Same principle: setting 1
