As long as base whole protein remains the same, I personally don’t add them.

Going off the cgm do I wait till my bg drops back to baseline or when do I start training

Don’t overthink it. You’re having intra carbs anyway. Focus more on whether your digestion feels good before training, energy and training performance is good.

Echoing Nath and Kam…not only is it bad for you but it directly impacts MPS Signalling and likely reduces appetite.

Irrespective of all that, give yourself the best chance go have a healthy life (whilst also saving your money!).

The guys and girls have given you some great suggestions bud. Just out of curiosity, how long would a posterior session take you if you did 2 ham, 2 quad, 2 lat, 2 upper back row and 2 glute take you? Could you do that in under an hour?… or if you did 3 ham and 3 quad (with a press with depth for glute quad and adductor)?

Because if you can, you could modify it a bit:

    Sunday – Push

    Monday – Pull

    Tuesday – Legs

    Wednesday- Off

    Thursday – Push+Arms

Friday – Posterior (see it as a top up of pull/legs)

    Saturday – Off

    Posterior could just be:

    2/3 x ham curls

    2 x extensions

    1 x press

    2 x lat

2 x row (rear delt gets stim on these)

Hey James this is a great suggestion, how would you structure the Push+Arms session?
2 x side lateral
    2 or 3 x low/mid incline press
    2 x pec fly
    2 x tricep extension
2 x bicep curls (superset with tricep to save time)

Adjust the sets to fit your training time. If you were to add something else in you could do delts/tricep/bicep as a trifecta?

If you are in a big deficit this is to be expected

I am hovering around a 1lb range it goes up and down so I would say I have been at maintenance for a while
Probably under eating in this case bud if your that much under range. Bring cals up
Ok I got the glucose done through a vein like it was one part or test on a whole metabolic bloodwork lab test!

It was not done by pricking my finger!

Just curious if the two test are much different or if one is more accurate than the other?
Venous is better when tested promptly. The longer it is stood, the more inaccurate your reading will be, as the mechanisms of the blood/cells still work.

Agree with the guys and Megaladon. If you’re not getting reactive crashes normally and you had no hypo signs, then I’d not worry.

CoR digests quickly and as Meg said, doing your test after more food is likely to give you a more accurate picture.

Only time I use them is when my knees don’t feel the best, but more so in winter months. Once I’ve got warmed up I take them off.

Key is to use good form as Marc said, also going way heavier than your musculature warrants will give you issues down the line.

Warm up properly + adequate loads + accuracy = no need for sleeves.

Fully agree with Clare and the team. We choose how we respond outwardly to an internal feeling, added supps will heighten what is already present.

Lower your dose and see how you feel.

If you’re progressing and enjoying it, it’s a good approach. Sure, we can always tweak things for improvements, but progress is progress. Milk it for as long as you can and then re-assess when progress halts.

Hi mate, I wouldn’t base my perception of progression from soreness. Base it on whether your lifts are progressing or not.

My hamstrings and adductors are always a little bit sore, but I can still perform to the standard I expect and progress.

Re: initial volume Q… your second upper and lower can have an extra set or two given that you’re taking an extra rest day. However, be careful with it at first. Just add a set or two to the whole session, not every movement and see how it goes. Start low and build up if you can.

Think Jordan used a guy once or twice when he got nuked, but I’m sure he said he wasn’t to be trusted. Think he thought the guy recovered his account and then sneakily got it banned again so he could charge him twice.

If chest is going to be a focus, firstly assess your form on the movements you’re doing and put them first in your sessions so you’re hitting the set fresh and then after a while you’ll know if it was just down to poor form or programming as to why it hasn’t grown.

If you throw in more volume and you’re doing 3, 4, 5+ sets EOD you’ll run into a wall with it and this will also impact your sessions in general. For now, 1 intense and accurate set per exercise and take it from there.

Squats: if it was a one off and you normally don’t regress a lift then look at external factors that may negatively influence training. Were you stressed that day or the night before, sleep ok? any digestion troubles etc etc so I’d not worry yet, see how your next one goes. Having said all that, I’d prefer a chest supported upper back row if possible.

Rest looks good. The only thing I’d alter (which is specific to me) is I wouldn’t have as many pressing sets. Just preference. Give this a few weeks and let us know how you’re getting on with it.
