Rest day today and now around 25 weeks out if the shows go ahead. We are optimistic by this time they will.

Changes so far have only to get moving a little more in the way of 8000 steps a day plus a 20 minute fasted walk daily.

Since the drugs have gone in digestion has taken a slight hit so this will definitely help. Legs tomorrow so looking forward to smashing that.

As Clare says energy balance will dictate your rate of fat loss. If backloading your carbs made you feel sluggish then spreading them throughout the day is the best thing for you for sure.

Hi Neil. Firstly as others have said this is a very dependent on the individual and also your lifestyle/job etc will play a huge role.

Can it be done? Absolutely! In fact when I step on stage in 25 weeks time I will have to push hard to get down to the classic limit. That will put me a minimum of 22lbs of stage weight up in exactly 18months but leaner

Did we aim for this? No. Instead we aimed to string perfect days, weeks and months together one after another. Adhering to the plan 100% with 0 and I mean 0 compromises, training in a progressive overload fashion to the point your logbook scares you. Eating not just a shit tonne of food but the best available foods, Sleeping more than you ever have like it’s part of you job and creating a stress free environment. This is the perfect scenario but if you have the means to do all this within your personal circumstances or not is another thing.

Concentrate on the day and week in front of you, session to session and the bigger picture will follow. Don’t waste a single day.

Pull today with no lower loading. Again my session was good with a big pump and great connection. I’m looking forward to what things look like from the back this time around, everything has massively improved.

My sessions are jumbled as I’m a little stuck for the choice of kit I’m used to at Ultraflex.

    Pin load row x 2
    Chest shop T bar row x 2
Pull down nutral grip x 2
High pin loaded row x 2
    Pull up x 1
Rear delt cable fly x 3
    Cable shrug x 2
Bicep DB SA preacher x 3
Cuffed SA hammer cable x 2

Is this happening when you are exercising/training or just in general mate?

AAS put strain on our cardiovascular systems. If you are using a higher total dose than usual this could have an effect, especially during exercise. I personally found, on dbol my breathing was most definitely effected during exercise and I trailed this a few times.

I much prefer oxy to dbol but this is just from my personal experience.

Push for me today and a very good session. Strength up on everything and things moving nicely. The cycle is doing it’s thing In all areas and giving me a very good base to come down.

I’ve had a lot of comments recently about me being too big to compete in the classic bodybuilding division. Now In an off season setting I agree I do look on the bigger side and possibly not the most “classic” looking, my waist always gets pretty wide and takes away from the look. One thing I have learnt about myself time after time is that as soon as the fat and water comes off then the waist comes in I’m still very much classic. I have the advantage of always weighing lighter than i look. Small joints and frame. I also have no concerns about making the weight and keeping maximal muscle. I will document the upcoming prep on social media in detail and I’m looking forward to showing everyone the transformation I know we can achieve

I like the upper lower rest Kuba suggests here. In terms of benching there are loads of very inventive ideas over instagram and YouTube. A little research into them and I’m confident you will be able to put up some kind of set up to help you bench and press as safely as possible

Rest day today and much needed. Leg day fucked me up good. Apart from a dog walk to hit my steps and a little bit of shopping, it was to usual of eating and sleeping. I can’t wait to get this weight off now, just the everyday normal tasks are a struggle. I don’t think the weight would be a problem in its self but the fact of how fast it’s come on. This time last year I was sat at 86kg (granted a lot leaner) but 10-12 months later I’m 34kg heavier with a lot of extra tissue, giving me mobility issues so I’m looking forward to some lighter days to come.

Not a stupid question at all. Firstly before changing volume i would make sure your execution is correct. Increasing volume could hamper things if you aren’t executing the exercise properly. Also if you look to increase volume I would do it slowly…

Anything that allows you to maintain muscle in the current situation is a winner. Bands up to 45kg can definitely help with that

There are so many ways you can use them mate. AJ Morris on YouTube has got some good exercises and just keep your eyes peeled on insta for some ideas. Train at higher volume with them and make use of the constant tension by slowing everything down too.
