If we just didn’t turn up on days we didn’t feel like it, we’d get fucking no where – that goes for life as well as training etc
So I sorted my shit out and had a sick session. Those are the sessions that count. That make a difference. Those are the days others would have a day off and quit. Make every day count and count your blessings we even have the opportunity to train, Cus In the bigger picture it is definitely a luxury ????

I wouldn’t be too set on being free in 4 weeks haha but using this time for a cut is a good idea in my eyes.
Good time to focus on a diet and getting lean for sure.

Takes a while to warm up my shoulder and it’s very ‘niggly’ in certain ranges so I’m being careful with loading. Especially without a spot. Not doing a I thing under 10 reps – still going to failure (well to the point where I could finish the rep, but not do another)
Actually felt good, happy with the session, no records but ticking boxes and being consistent with everything. 3 weeks into diet now and still minimal to no changes in the plan because we keep improving. Good place to be. I’m happy. 15 weeks out. Here’s a couple from check in.

I would usually say a calorie drop initially if you managed to work food high in off season – but looking at your calories there I would say increase output. You can add steps or add some light cardio on a TD – maybe an upper day. Either way keep changes minimal and look for progress, if it’s slow, make further changes just don’t overdo it too quick and risk losing muscle when it could be avoided.

I was DEAD at 30 but had 40 in my mind before hand and didn’t wanna fail so I ground them out. Mini things like that where I don’t wanna lose to myself. No one else wound care, but I do.
Then this morning I ran 5k for charity. That too was horrendous ???? managed 32 mins – didn’t think that was too bad for someone nearly 120kg lol

Kuba Jamie and james run the UK pro muscle tour which is really valuable from an academic and a practically applicable perspective so deffo check the next one out.
I’ll also be running an event later on in the year that will include educational content and workout workshops too.
Of course nothing will be on until we’re allowed to work.

Don’t want to squat much heavier in my front room on the first floor. Doesn’t quite seem safe haha.
Training is going very well though. Had to rejig my programme about to a week split and seems to be working well and I’m now progressing my lifts again like normal 🙂

I used to like RDLs in my pull sessions so this would be more alike to an upper session. I feel like direct leg work as well as an RDL (for me at least) in the same session would be too much

Deffo a bit shit news but answers the pain in my shoulder – would have been baffled if it had come back all clear. Will train around it during prep and make do then look into further treatment post prep – potential op to fix it. Meh. But for now nothing is stopping this prep!!

That will be gone when you’re lean enough. You’re legs aren’t in yet. Get your legs in and then I bet yours abs will look as you want them to.

Joe what are you opinions on a deca only cycle for mass building eg muscle tissue building? Or do you think deca in combination with test or an another drug is better for this goal?Personally I think having some test in there will be better but I cannot speak from experience as I’ve never done deca only. Just high deca/low test. Which was very good. Why do you ask? Are you thinking of trying it bud?
I know Jordan liked it but his response was that it worked for him. It may not work for you for example so it’s all trial and error really and also very person dependent

Yeah I’m thinking about trying it out, because some of my friends experiment with that and there opinion was that deca in combination with test results ins prolactin ect problems and with deca only you won’t that issues. Also deca is more anabolic than test I think.

Tbh I wound prioritise pre intra and post training nutrition if you train in this period. I do actually quite like the use of it when dieting personally but only if training is outside of that window.

The only thing with that is that you’ve just gone 10ish hours with zero food then you train. The new set up is actually alright. I have a rack and a barbell with weight with DBs up to 46 – so deffo enough to be able to get some good workouts in man
