Another one you can lean into a wall keeping body straight and if you can get your toes on a slab or something to raise them it will increase rom. You can add weight by wearing a backpack filled with heavy shit

Took me a while to source all the correct nuts and bolts but got there in the end and hit push last night. Tonight we train legs so I’m looking forward to that and to moving some weight on legs, feels like it’s been a while!
I’ve been trying to make my sessions as close to normal as possible. Sometimes reps have been higher but it is what it is. We still go to failure 🙂

Hey buddy those are out now I’ve started prep but while I was off season they were only in to get my calories up.
I always favour clean food so on prep they won’t/aren’t in unless it’s for refeed purposes

So tomorrow we start again and i need to go on a merry mission to find the bolts. Nightmare. All I wanna do is train in my front room! Lol will report back tomorrow!

I wouldn’t say game changer, you can definitely grow well without it you just have to be nailed on with all variables but of course when combined the growth rate does increase but gains are not linear

I think jordan is speaking from a general approach that would fit most/all beginner lifters, which is very much the case. However if you’ve dabbled differently but found it to work and you are progressing then I would continue what you are doing bud, for sure.

I believe with the right mindset and also some kit, we can still progress in these times. I know I will anyway.
Prep started Monday under these weird yet wonderful conditions. We’re all in this together so embrace it and make use of what you have. When the time comes that the world resumes, be ready. Don’t get left behind…

I think without proper resistance it really it difficult to grow so yes just using bands I wound say you’d find it difficult to grow muscle.

Relatively common to feel that way after fully taking a set there. Deffo continue training in this fashion. Imo you can’t push too hard, failure is failure

No more going to my pals home gym which is a bit shit but we must do our bit
Ok so what I’ve done is hired some kit:
1 Olympic barbell, 1 EZ bar, a smaller bad with 40kg weights, 160kg Olympic weights. DB’s – 4kgs, 10kgs, 20kgs, 46kgs, floor matts, a proper bench
And I have bought myself a full power rack that will get through. It always has a plate loaded lat pull/low row (I can use the cable to do loads)
Going to try and stick to my programme as best I can with a few tweaks and changes but I’m looking forward to the challenge
What kit do you guys have and what are you doing to get through this period?
