A very long, tiring, hot and sweaty day at the 2brospro British Grand Prix yesterday, but SOOOOO worth it! Not only was it incredible to see @joe-ballinger-2 and @jhollingshead89gmail-com looking phenomenal on stage and taking away top placings, but having the chance to spend time amongst the rest of the Team is always hugely motivating to me and fills me with an immense amount of pride and gratitude. Meeting some of you guys too and hearing your stories and what this site and brand has done and continues to provide for you, makes everything worth it.

I’m taking another rest day today as I have a full day of work to do until late this evening and my body feels battered. My lower back isn’t thanking me for driving long distances the day after deadlifts either.. haha! and I’m extremely tired, so it makes sense to get back to it tomorrow.

Deffo play with the Angles of your body ie if your leaning into the machine and have your head down then swap to an upright body position with a neutral Spine an try to adjust where the load is being placed. If it still really hurts then don’t do it. Go and see an osteopath and get it checked out ????

What’s up guys so I WON yesterday ???? … first outing as a super heavy and took the win, and also the overall so I’m very happy and that firmly cements the notion that I am now an open class bodybuilder and I belong in the category. It’s a fantastic feeling as I know I’m only going to get better and grow into the class. Had some great feedback on both my posing and my condition – both of which will be even better in 3 weeks time in Portugal when I go for the pro card. Guys I’m over the moon and very very happy!

We didn’t even run a proper peak week for this show as were saving the ‘peak’ for Portugal so for this outcome with (as JP says) me at 85% it’s a great result. We did a small water load/taper with a natural Diuretic (water balance and vit c tabs) and 700g carbs the day before and Around 400g on the day of the show with 1 cookie pre stage.

Yesterday was probably the best and most confident I have ever felt on stage and I loved everything of it so to come away with the win and the overall was just fantastic. Thanks so much to JP for everything and for the team to be there and support. Big love guys – onto the big one in 3 weeks ????

Hey bud looks good mate but personally I would put smaller body parts such as biceps and calves at the end of the sessions so that they don’t negatively impact my ability to press or pull as heavy and effectively as possible in the main part of the session seeing as progressive overload is the MAIN goal here ????

great day spent with the team down at the 2bro’s event n see our lad @joe-ballinger-2 win the super heavyweight and go on to take the overall and so well deserved he was shredded. side tricep shot got a wow from me. then we watched as the big open class pro’s battled it out n they got worked hard by the judges too so good to see. now home its time for bed been a long day especially as rest day meals but last night refeed meal tied me over n spending the day with the crew kept my mind on the prize
