It’s a very person specific process but slow and steady wins the race. Add a small amount of carbs to pre and post and ensure you progress your lifts – this is vital in holding your condition. You can eat more to grow but you will also need to utilise the extra food and improve your performance levels. As the guys above have said, then you can slowly reduce cardio. I would monitor a number if factors closely and on a regular basis too to ensure appropriate progress ????

Hey man yeah appreciate that thanks mate. I used Chris Spearman and he’s been fantastic I’d be happy to intro you if you wanted to chat to him.

Before PTing completely – 6 years ago I worked for my dads wood machinery business as a bench joiner. But wasn’t for me so went back to uni and here we are 🙂

For a gaining phase probably be better to push the primo to the higher levels – I do also favour NPP in the off season setting too so I like that

Yeah when dipping 200kg+ that shit rips you out of the seat ???? deffo need a seatbelt around the back to hold you in. If I didn’t have one I wouldn’t bother. Would rather hit weighted dips for a better contraction

Hey guys so gear changes from this weeks check in – all injectables have been increased and intro of T3 and anavar

    5iu gh

    Insulin 8 pre, 6 post

    550 test e

    400 primo e

    400 mast e

50mg Anavar , split 25 am and pm

    0.5 adex x 3

    25mcg t3 immediately on wake

I asked a question in the supplement section but figured i would ask you directly :)… I know JP made a video talking about primo doses should be used in the 600+ range for any benefits, yet i see he has a few of his athletes on less than that. Could you possibly share some insight on this Joe? Much Appreciated!
Hey dude!! Ok so 600+ is needed for muscle BUILDING. But the combination of primo with the masteron is largely also for its anti estro effect and you will need a minimum of 500 combined of the both of them for this to be effective 🙂

Joe a question about your PT and online business… How long have you been doing both? What would you say is the most important part to building your client base?

Joe a question about your PT and online business… How long have you been doing both? What would you say is the most important part to building your client base?

What’s up Dan. Ok so I’ve been PTing for 5 years (2 and a half full time) and started my online business about 18 months ago.

I would say the best thing I did was hire and pay for a business coach that helped me strategise my content and marketing direction etc to have the biggest impact and also to find my ‘niche’ and ensure I am ‘speaking to them’ when I use my social platforms.

Also – and probs the biggest one – actually do a good job and show people ie transformation etc – feel free to ask anything else you like 🙂 hope that helps

Joe when your weight stalled In offseason how quickly would you increase calories?

Lets say you weight haven’t moved for 3-5 days would you increase or give it abit longer before adjusting?

Hey bud yeah that would seem the logical thing to do right? But I was struggling to push more food so we actually cruised at the food I was on until I was ready to push without forcing it – (I’d already forced it and couldn’t force anymore haha) so no real set time we just did what we could when we could. I think next time a little mini pull back in cals would be beneficial to allow me to push Up further again straight after 🙂

  • Have you thought about going to university (if you have the entry requirements) – I did strength and containing and I learnt so much that I now use to this day with regard to my coaching both 1-2-1 and online.

You can go to uni or look into learning from home (id personally prefer to go as I’m pretty hands on as a person) – feel free to comment on my log and we can chat more about it if you want

I’ve done heavier barbell than I have Smith. I’ve done heavier bench paused reps with a smith though. It’s all preference and tbh it doesn’t really matter which one you can lift more on. Use the one which works best for you or even cycle both into your training programme to get max benefit or progressing both movements

I just wanted to clear a argument up. I can see were people are coming from because u get a better strength curve from barbell I imagine
Yeah I think you can sit more naturally into the BB back squat meaning you’re in a stronger position to drive and use the prime movers more specifically than the smith. But the Smith has its place too 🙂
