Personally I wouldn’t add ontop of your work output in the off season you’ll just be super tired and it will take away from you weight sessions which are the most important here. If you train hard enough ontop of your work load theres no reason for you to get sloppy. So It comes down to what your diet is really dude.

If anything is making me not function correctly or at 100% I’d tend to steer clear. There’s other options and a healthy gut wouldn’t def be more optimal in my eyes

MemberApril 6, 2019 at 7:03 pm in reply to: Joe’s Classic to Open Class BodybuilderHow often do you train abs, and which exercises do you use? Sets/reps ????
What’s up dude honestly I don’t do a lot of abs – usually 1 exercise at the end of a session one a week. I like doing cable crunches with a rope/lying or hanging leg raises and also knee tucks whilst led on my back. Usually something like 3/4 sets of 15/20 reps ????

MemberApril 6, 2019 at 7:02 pm in reply to: Joe’s Classic to Open Class BodybuilderWhat was your weight ? And what was the limit for your Classic weight ?
I prepped from 116kg and stage weight for classic at 6ft – 6ft 1 was 220lbs/100kg. I was visually ready at 107/8 kg but still have to come down to make weight. I did so and looked worse for it and felt like shit so I won’t be doing that again haha – so onto the open class BB it is for me. I’ll be a super ????

Tried this today… very simple and did the job ???????????????????? thanks for sharing… exited to see your journey to open class…. sorry if you have already answered this, but why the shift to open? [/quote]
Thank you bro much appreciated buddy basically I couldn’t hit classic weight anymore the weight drop was just too much for me so the only obvious choice was to jump to open class and work my way up! Very excited to do so! Let me know if you have any questionstb-jp.com/collections/clothing - The most anabolic clothing ever! |

Hmmm looks pretty low food to just jump straight in on especially with increasing your output so high. As food is low and your smashing your training plus the extra cardio you’re depleting all of your glycogen levels making your blood sugar low hence the hypo. I’d cut back on the cardio and find out your maintenance cals – shoot for those with carbs based around training – with a decent amount post workout to prevent going hypo again. Then assess progress and slowly add in cardio first before dropping food.
You’ve gone balls deep straight away and don’t know where your at. Always best to start high (food) and come down. Doesn’t matter if your weight goes up week one, you can adjust and go from there. Hope that helps a bit.tb-jp.com/collections/clothing - The most anabolic clothing ever! |

MemberApril 4, 2019 at 1:40 pm in reply to: Joe’s Classic to Open Class Bodybuilderwhat’s up guys got some serious Dom’s today so taking a rest. I think sometimes even if you’ve planned to train but you feel shit it’s smarter to rest and go again the next day tbh. 1. You’ll be mad keen to get back in the gym and 2. You’ll be more rested and will likely progress your session further than if you didn’t rest. Had a morning full of PT so going to do some online client work this afternoon and then meeting my parents this evening for a birthday meal.

Better performance – better results. Always take food/cals away furthest from your training sessions first then work in as and if required.

I think you should eat what works for you. If you an stomach both and digest them all then go for it. If you struggle with one one or it makes you bloat when mixed then look at splitting then. Utilise carbs obviously around training – but as Corinne says everyone is different so it would be hard to say exactly
