Lovely chilled Sunday today just went to visit Nancys grandad today who’s 93. Love having chats with him about his life, he’s still mentally with it and has lived a long and very interesting life. Especially hearing his stories about the 2nd world war when he was a boy. He was telling me today about how they had to live of rations and what life was like back then. We take so much stuff for granted nowadays!
Anyway, Sunday planning done and ready for the fresh week tomorrow!

Trained this morning then I’ve spent the whole day watching 3 games of rugby and the 6 nations finale. I feel like a fat shit for sitting down all day 😂 buuuuut wow what a game that England vs France game was. Genuinely one of the best games of rugby I’ve ever witnessed. Such a shame we kicked it away and lost after the 80 mins was up. But that’s sport and that’s life. Great to see England playing with some attacking flair again. Look forward to the nations championship starting in July!

Extra rest day today as been a bit fucked this week and feeling pretty damn tired. But been working a lot and business and all is in a great spot. In tomorrow for lats and hams and some top up delts.

Decided to run a bit of a deload this week. Everything the same except 1 set instead of 2. Same loads and reps etc infact I still progressed in legs today. Just felt like a little lowering of volume would help my recovery this week so I can get back to full volume next week.
Still feeling strong though and my leg sessions are flying right now! Always have a cheat meal after legs and tonight was papa johns XXL pizza and wings! Banging!

These sessions are getting pretty damn tough my body isn’t recovering like it does when I’m on cycle and I’m trying to balance the right amount of volume for the recovery I can do. I’ve been getting stronger and improving things loads the last few weeks but this last week I feel like I’ve hit a bit of a road block. Regressed (only by a rep) on one or two things and it’s just felt hard. I’ll try and smash out an other week and see if I can keep moving, my next option is to lower volume (by lowering total sets) to see if that makes a difference. We’ll see.

Wow what an Arnold’s weekend! Ngl pretty tired from watching it but what a show! I predicted Andrew to win but had Nick winning from watching the actual show. Rest day today and watched the formula 1 highlights too good to have the new season of that back. Lots of jobs done at home today and then prepped and ready for the week ahead 🙂

Back day today and felt a little off deffo down to the deep tissue I had yday as felt like I had back Dom’s before I even did the session. Still had a good one but for sure noticed the fact that I had work done yesterday.
In other news I do my bodybuilding fantasy league team on fouads platform. Was a good crack doing that last year so down to do it again this year! Also just seen Mike didn’t make the classic weight and is doing open at the Arnold that’s going to be exciting! Even though hes class I think he’s gunna look small on that stage. When urs did it he was like 260 mike is like 210 so a huge size difference. We’ll see!

Big leg session yday with everything progressed which feels so good to be able to do right now because I’m actually lifting some heavy stuff. Although my recovery isn’t great being on fuck all gear. Deffo felt beat up today. Had some deep tissue work today – whole legs which was spicy and then my back. Had cupping on my back as well. Should be good to go for pull tomorrow!

When I’ve had bad pip i like to massage it or veg my partner to after I’ve had a shower or a bath so my skin is nice and supple. Plus ibuprofen for a couple days to help with swelling. Start hydrated also.

Back in for a fresh week and had a class chest and bi session today. Strength is really in a good place right now and feel like I’m holding some pretty decent size tbf. My receptors are going to be so sensitive when I next can go back on cycle so I should make some pretty substantial changes in my my physique which in really looking forward to. For now all I can do is get my meals in and keep pushing hard with my training.

I’d always use an intra venous blood draw straight from the vein to the tube with less chance of interference. Still interesting none the less.

So trained today with no headphones. Sounds small but deffo not the one! Anyway, that aside I had a great session and managed to progress everything once again. Doing stuff that is kind of on cycle numbers so I’m deffo happy. Legs are completely cooked.
Came home and got the recovery leg boots on for half hour and will do the next few nights, that’s massively helping with my recovery/doms.
Chiro and rest day tomorrow. And a quieter working day so usually have a bit more of a chill on a Thursday after I’ve done my morning work.
