Always cruise. You want your body as healthy and fresh as possible before you prep as Heath can get comprised on prep cycle (orals) and generally getting very lean (poor sleep/lower recovery etc). Cruise as long as you can if you know it’s going to be a long prep. Make sure you at least maintain your lifts when on cruise (yes it can be done) you may just have to lower your volume a touch once recovery starts to become compromised.

One of the best leg (quad focus) sessions I’ve had in a long time today. Felt super strong – for my current near natty standards 😂 session was

    Seated ham x 2
    Leg ext x 2
    Leg press x 2
    Pendulum x 2
    Lunge x 2
    Adductor x 2

Full send on everything and finally moving some decent weight again

Really feeling good right now. Have seriously tightened up my routine stating with my bedtime and the night before so I can be up at 6 to start my day with supps and what not. And then also be ahead for my meals too etc. And that’s had a knock on effect to my training too as I’m feeling much stronger now again! Flying!

Another cracking weekend of rugby. Love the 6 nations being on. Obviously not great about England’s result but we won’t talk about that. Training has been class lately really enjoying it and looking forward to another great week ahead! Back in for chest/bi tomorrow and a busy work day!

Had a really good week of training so far. Feeling very strong I won’t lie. Obv not as strong as when on cycle but I’m not a million miles off tbf! Foods going in nicely and most importantly I’m enjoying myself again – probs why I’m making the progress that I am 🙏

Legs and back the past couple of days and back in tomorrow for delts and triceps!

Started my initial off season split today that Patrick gave me. Now I’m passed a couple of injuries I’m looking forward to getting stuck into it.

    The split is:

    Chest and bi

    Back thickness (rows) and calves

    Quads and 1 ham

    Rest

    Shoulders and triceps

    Back width (pulldowns) and hamstrings

So today was chest and bi. Really good session tbf and even though I’m still ‘natty’ lol my recovery seems to be pretty damn so i ran 3 sets per exercise and did 5 chest and 3 bi. Class session!

Hey Joe I love this spilt as well!

Just curious if you could possibly post what your diet and meals look like right now? [/quote]
I’ll post my meals below here for you mate

Hey Kian, I’m not really sure what the question is here, but some people genetically will have a harder time holding onto decent condition when they push up. For those people I’d always suggest coming out of a diet phase slowly and with gradual changes. Small caloric increases until your weight starts to go up 0.5-1lb a week is probs a decent place to be. Faster than that and you’ll likely be putting on negative body fat/muscle percentage ratio. You might be somewhat fatigued, hence the poor training but tbh it is what it is. If you’ve rested and slowly eating more you just need to crack on. Not everyday feels amazing. And that’s fine, just keep progressing your lifts and slowly taking food up. Keep cardio in and steps up too to control fat gain.

First time looking at myself today in a very long time and ngl I’m pretty damn happy with the look considering I’ve only been on 300mg test since May. 9 months nearly of low T (compared to what I’m used to) and I feel like I actually look kinda big so not mad at all. And condition as always is staying true to the genetics. Might even post it on the gram. We’ll see 😂

Yeah shit like that can happen from time to time. Dose up on the join in and cure coming. That tends to keep most things at bay for me. Failing that some BPC/TB should clear it up if resting really isn’t an option.

Ran a pro talk podcast today with Kuba which was awesome and will be out week after next next so keep your eyes out for that. Sunday is a rest day and we headed back to cheltenham way today to have lunch with Nancys family for her grandmas birthday. Really good roast dinner! Then back to London to get ready for the week. Now off to bed to get a head for Monday! Hope you all had a great weekend!

Also are you doing any cardio right now and do you do the cardio fasted or post workout mainly?

Zero cardio for me in the offseason. Never have some any. Would end up just losing too much weight 😂

Really been enjoying training recently. Funny how sometimes it comes and goes. Deffo ‘harder’ when you’ve been on a cruise low dose for 9 months but finding wants to progress and enjoy training. Logging is going well and I’m actually feeling pretty strong all things considered so that’s great!

Trained today then spent the afternoon watching the 6 nations! Buzzing that’s it’s back on! Class win for England – hoping we do the grand slam this year! 🙌

I don’t think there’s a right answer here bud. Put them when you feel they sit best in your split.
