    I don’t ever get anxiety from it but I have heard of people getting it. Probs due to increased heart rate. I usually run it for a few months within prep. There is no issues for me while doing that 🙂

    A great weekend away at the tbf takedown show this weekend supporting my good friend max – I stayed at his for the tru athlete peak week. He won his class and looked phenomenal and was so good to be there supporting him, and catching up with friend and industry guys and girls.     Looking at pushing food up on weaker body part days after the weekend when we move into the massing phase. Bloods next week too so we can hopefully jump back on cycle as well . The gear and food should see us nicely gain in the right areas along side the specific training plan:)

    Up in Bham today for the PCA midlands show with my client Jack. I always like to be here in person where I can as having eyes on a physique in person is so much better than just having pics to go off. Excited for another outing for the team today! Had the last few days off training for me as well because I had my head tattoo which has turned out so well! Very happy with it!

    I would worry about any of then, if your body weight is coming down, you’re in a deficit. If it’s too slow, eat less and/or move more. If it’s coming down too quick eat a touch more or more a little less. Don’t make it more complicated that it needs to be.

    The doms the first week are fucking brutal!

    Honestly so so bad man, couldn’t bend my arms my biceps were so tight for two days. Was good to be back in today though. Going to pull back on the intensity this week I think I went in a little hard lol

    Had to take a forced rest day today my Dom’s are actually crippling 😅 … my chest legs and arms are all literally out of action. No intensifiers I’m just straight sets high volume work. Such good sessions will take me a week or so to get used to it. So forced rest it is .

    I have the flattest feet of them all lol I always used squat shoes and made sure my glutes were strong and always warm to help with avoiding that knee valgus.

    Joe, how many warm up/feeder sets would you do on the leg press before those top sets?
    Obviously it’s the 4th exercise in, but it would be good to see how you structure that to smash your top set.

    Well my legs are already fairly pumped. So I do 2 plates a side for like 10, then add a plate each side and lower the reps as I go up until I’m good to go.

    First leg session in around 4 weeks today and it was banger. Gunna be feeling that the next few days! Session went like this

    Adductor 3×20
    Abductor 3×20

    Leg extension 3 x 20/15/15
    Leg press 2 x 20/10-12
    Pendulum 1 x 12+double drop

    Lying ham 4 x 20/20/15/10
    Seated ham 4 x 20/20/15/10

    Seated calf x 100 reps rest paused

    Solid solid session – despite still not feeling 100%

    2 sets ham curl – 1st set with 2sec in the contraction, 2nd set with 2 sec in the stretch position –

    My hamstrings are super weak – comes from lack of execution & not really giving them the fovus they deserve. Surpassed all time strength by a mile allready, chasing the stack

    2 sets pendulum – brutal. Legs where shaking mid set on both sets. Probably the best quad compound excercise I’ve tried for me. Hamstring to calves, 2sec in the hole – absolutely nailing my quads.

    2 sets calf stuff – I prefer a slightly higher rep range at the first set here, with a 2sec contraction to rinse the short position. Then I do my heavier fun stuff as the 2nd set – that way I find I still connect well with them despite a relative heavy load.

    Then onto upper – higher rep stuff. Don’t get me wrong, I like lift heavy – but the 15+ reppers is good fun too. Cardio daily is coming in handy here too aswell as being skinny & light – I don’t really gas out. The pump from just 1 set of a 15+ repper is also nutty – that’s a bonus.

    30kg dip x 17 – I’ve got the number 50kg x 20 in my head, that would be pretty cool, ticking that off this off season

    Then onto some simple lat pulldowns, chest supported t-bar, laterals, curls and finishing with assisted dip for the croissant tricep.

    All progressed as it should be, happy with execution & accuracy – but always always room for improvement in every aspect

    Rest tomorrow – slight dietary adjustment from today, will post up soon

    Sounds like a class session man! Trembling legs is always a good sign 🤣
