    At this stage you’re already at around 1000 g of carbs, which is a huge amount and will probably increase ( is the sticky rice measured raw? ) What’s the highest amount of carbs you’ve ever eaten in the offseason? Do you currently have no vegetables in your diet?

    Hey mate it’s about 800 give or take and around 5500kcal so not crazy but it’s deffo harder all being clean food (no cereal/squares bars etc) … those are cooked rice amounts from the rice packs just for ease tbh.

    I’ve eaten 7500 for 6 months as my ‘highest’ but not sure what the exact carbs were. Well over 1000 though 😂

    I have salad a few times a day but not much tbh, last thing I want to eat when food is so high lol

    Hey Joe just curios what your meals and diet looks like right now? I know you are a person who has to eat a ton!

    Also do you do any cardio in the off season or just count steps?

    TRAINING DAY

    Meal 1:

    Ok so I just wanna give some love to the carrot cake performance iso protein – damn that shit is food. And I’m in Off season with no interest in food tbh so that is saying something. Genuinely one of the best flavours I’ve had in a very long time!! Anyone else tried it yet?

    Had some recent trouble with pinning and a bad few shots, my shoulders have been really getting bad pip and I actually had to go to the hospital to get my shoulder looked at and drained. Nightmare but it’s all good now. I couldn’t work out what it was but I think it was some primo I got from a mate, I’ve used the brand before but I know sometimes brands can change carrier oils so I imagine it’s that as he said it didn’t sit well with him – hence me getting it off him. Anyway, That’s the only thing I’ve changed so pretty confident it’s that. I just pinned it again now 😂 and yes pretty confirmed. Swapping that shit straight out – annoying I’ve back loaded a full weeks worth of gear though. Meh.

    Sorry guys been a busy few days making sure something are ok at home etc … you know the important stuff ❤️ … but we’re back bank holiday done and ready to jump into the week tomo, very busy week with the launch of intensive 8 and getting everything up together for that.     Took an impromptu day off today as Nancy is not so well, so I had to do a few things for her. Also cooked us fajitas this evening and chilled out with a movie. Seems like forever since we did that but was nice. Lots of work going into the new Intensive 8 coaching programme I’m launching next Friday too! Exciting times!

    Your body weight shouldn’t be a dictator on whether you progress your lifts or not. Of course to a degree you tend to get stronger the heavier you get but it’s not as correlated as you suggest there. Progress should be being made in the gym no matter what when in a surplus especially. To be honest for the most part in a deficit too unless in back end of prep. People that can’t do that can’t train hard, period. So if you can’t progress in a surplus your problem isn’t more food. It’s likely your programming.

    Back home now and getting back into the swing of things tomorrow with training etc had a good bit of time off whilst away in France to recharge the batteries and get back into a good place with everything. Feeling relaxed and rejuvenated to get back into tomorrow and full send once again. Time to get back to work!

    I would do overnight oats. Prep your normal oats the night before bang them in the fridge and have them when you wake up, that’s my fave way to eat oats anyway and saves you time 🙂

    Another super chill day here. Whole point of this holiday was to just completely relax and not be bodybuilding focussed at all. Already slightly getting the itch to come back and jump back in two feet first but going to enjoy our last full day tomorrow and top up this tan a little more. It’s important to have a break from time to time, I haven’t had one since summer last year so deffo enjoying the down time and not feeling guilty for chilling the fuck out 😂
