Yes , start moderately as if your BG is already under control you don’t want to tank it , so 5-6iu at meal 1 is a sensible start point

When a set is insanely hard I write 9.6/9.7 , the next session jt may then be 9.5 , then 9.4/9.3 , then 9.2/9.1 and then I know a + 1 rep is coming soon , so I just need tk stay accurate and the progress comes. Forcing progress is not gains , let the progress come through accuracy and that is gains !

MemberFebruary 3, 2026 at 4:16 pm in reply to: JP prep 2024/25 – NO OFF TOPIC QUESTIONSBody weight ticking down from that cycle , was 284 this morning , actually felt fucking awesome training today , it’s so funny how 290 will feel like pure hell and then the 6 pounds of water comes off and I can fully own a hard leg session at 284. Made me very happy indeed .
The absolute fucking priority for me in this diet phase is to not hurt my legs . The last few years I have sustained a leg injury multiple times . 2020 quad tear , 2021 adductor tear , 2024 bad adductor tear !
It is not happening this year , so I’m rotating movements way more often . Definitely not something I advise someone trying to get peak size legs , but I am super happy with mine so the biggest thing is keeping them healthy . So today I rotated movements again , trained them real hard with insanely good form, got a banging pump and that was me . I really removed any explosiveness at all from the session . It wasn’t stretch and squeeze and I defo wasn’t lifting light , I just wasn’t being as explosive as I can be . I get those , what will you change with your training after 40 questions a fair bit – here is my answer , remove the explosiveness , remove any momentum , stay entirely on the muscle .
Gym leco seated leg press – 7 sets ( first time ever on it , literally just did 3-4 warm ups and then 7 sets that were kinda in proximity to failure , I would say of the 7 , 3-4 were actual wok sets and 3-4 were working warm ups )
Belt squat somersault squat style – 3 sets
Single leg ext 5 sets
Single preacher bicep curl 5 sets
Really fucking happy
All I need to do is not get hurt and my legs will be solid . Even the last time I competed I badly hurt my leg that prep and I was leg ext only the last 4 weeks ! It’s not fucking happening this year

The £100M i truly believe is doable if the manufacturing can nail it , that then creates the margins for the wholesale for tbjp to become a really desirable global brand solely from price point alone ( eg gyms make £7-8 more a tub profit margins on my like for like products ( whey , creatine , etc ) than competitors ) , that back end increase in sales allows for a greater front end spend on marketing / influence and then boom it snowballs , it’s there ! I can absolutely see the path to it , so obvs just need to execute now and not fuck it along the way .

Long head of tricep gets none in those
Quad hits vastus , no rec fem
Ext hits rec fem .
It’s not a volume understanding question . You are confused because you don’t know what , trains what 🙂

Both makes sense , they all bring diff benefits . If your using eq I prob wouldn’t bother with primo . If using the test , eq , nandrolone , running them 1:1:1 is a great ratio most do well on I have found , as then you have test and nandrolone rasing e2 , eq lowering it , so then overall your in a good spot . If that needs altering it would then be from test , so 1.1-1.2:1:1 for example

I do mine in lower ab , I actually can’t believe how my joints feel atm , I am lifting more than ever and I don’t have a single issue anywhere. I’m also doing more volume than ever too , I should defo have some problems , so it can only be the peptides .

It is talked about , a lot . I mention it every time that you don’t do more volume than you need . So yes more volume = more stimulus but when you are small you don’t need it .
Imagine this , you are a circle that is 2cm in diameter , 3 sets colours in tbe circle fully . That’s you maxed out . More sets now goes outside the circle and doesn’t make YOU grow more as YOU don’t need it .
Let’s say Marc is a 6cm circle , he needs 6 sets to fully max that stimulus.
So as a result of the 6 sets mark does he trades off some frequency for volume . But the key is not much , he would move from 3 sleeps to 4 sleeps
So as I say over and over and over , focus on frequency . ( and the reason is because YOU don’t need more volume )

The total volume is only thing that maybe a hindrance at that frequency . Glutes can take a bashing , but you have a lot of work in there for eod . How long have you been on that much total work and are lifts trending up ok?
