Rest day for me today! Lots of work, some posing clients, a little walk in the sunshine & lots of house chores – nothing really much else 🥲.. still no sign of my cycle, weight is up a little now however, so wondering if it is coming orrr… gone, but it has neverrr gone this far out from a show! I guess time will tell!! ..

If I’m honest, from a supplement stand point I wouldn’t be able to best advise however some of the other guys likely will when they jump on this!
However, someone that has really helped Marc Hector through his process with osteoarthritis is raduphysio on Instagram or his website is here
I think you have a great mindset for thinking the way you do, Marc was told he would never be able to compete again, and has since had no further operations and is now a lot more mobile with a lot less pain, I would reccomend reaching out to him to see what advise he can give!
*& has competed, & will be competing again this year! So keep that mindset strong!

Training day for me today, one set only, woke up at 3:20am with night sweats and night mares.. so went to the gym earlyyyyy to get it done, messaged Meg and she told me to use it as a deload session today, we always have to navigate these times with me for me not to fall into a hole! I’m never late on my cycle so praying it arrives any day as this feels long this month!
Anyway a lovely afternoon with Marc for some down time as we got most of our work load done this morning! So all in all a good day!!

Hey, so yeah that would be cheating the system if the client is planning to compete in a natural show. There are other things that could be utilised like yohimbine. But enough time should be allowed in prep to get in shape through diet, cardio and expenditure

Rest day for me today & a new low of 58.4kg 🤝 0.2kg lighter than the last weight which I’d seen a good few times now, again surprised by this being this close to my cycle!

Allison put it really well here! So I’d say if it digests well & as above most of your diet is whole food sources then it’s ok, you may find the deeper you get into your deficit you may want to switch out for more filling whole foods

Great session today, my weight also came back down to just 0.1 above my lightest so far this prep at 58.7 today (lowest is 58.6) usually I see my weight shoot up around my cycle, I’m due on any day, so i am interested to see if it’ll drop off post cycle without making any changes – so far we are 2 weeks into prep, heading into week 3, 1.5kg down & zero changes as of yet to calories / steps / cardio.

Bread is absolutely fine, again I do agree sour dough is best, are you sure they do not call it something different in your country? When I’ve travelled to different countries this is sometimes the case but the ingredients are the same it’s just known as something different.

I definitely agree with the others here regarding finding the root cause, have you also had your form assessed by anyone? I found a lot of my niggles from back in the day went once I improved my form..

Rest day today, can’t lie was a hardddd day, I’m due on any day, I feel like I’m always going on about this BUTTT it is my reality and I’m here to share soooo… anyway, every box has been ticked with intent, from prep to work & everything in-between, had to have 2 naps today, it’s crazy how much fatigue hits me with this pmdd, I can’t wait until i come on then I can have a break from this & start finding things that are easy.. easy again & enjoyable, as everything definitely feels a lot like a chore!

Thinking outside of the box here but do you have a skin care routine also? You track your micro nutrients but are you having enough fruit & veg? Do you consume much dairy? Do you have many Offplan meals?

Marc has used Ali Noorani for his surgeries at the OS_clinic_ (on instagram) he’s of of the best in the uk, worked on many bodybuilders, eddy hall & other IFBB pros! Hope this helps!
