Hi Kuba, with my split being U/R/L/R/U/L/R it means on my Upper A session & Lower B session I have 4 sleeps rather than 3 until I hit it again. So would it make sense to add extra volume to these two sessions? For example:
Upper A Setup (3 sets all) 4 sleeps.
HS Shoulder Press
HS Flat Chest Press
HS Lateral Raise Machine
HS Tricep Extension
HS Single Arm Pulldown
Cable Upper Back Pulldown
Total sets – 18
Upper B Setup (2 sets all) 3 sleeps.
Smith Shoulder Press
HS Pec Fly
Dumbbell Lateral Raise
Single Arm Cuff Tricep Extension
HS Single Arm Lat Row
HS Low Row
Total sets – 14
No, only add volume if your recovery is super high and you are seeing big jumps in progress volume addition or reduction is dictated by your progress not extra days of rest.

Hi Kuba – hope you’re well mate. How would you modify a PPL setup for emphasizing Chest and Quads, de-emphasizing back, delts, arms?
I’m thinking something like (but you know much better than I):
Push – 6 chest, 5 delt, 4 tricep, 3 absLegs – 6 quad, 5 ham, 2 add, 3 calf, 3 biceps
Rest
Push – 6 chest, 5 delt, 4 tricep, 3 back, 3 abs
Legs – 6 quad, 5 ham, 2 add, 3 calfPull – 12 back, 3 rear delt, 5 bicep

Volume is way too high for your body parts you are trying to de prioritise, volume you need to maintain if training is accurate , exercise selection is good is fairly low
I’d lower direct volume on arms slightly & back

New low 254.8 this morning, glutes are getting a lot harder, feeling great and very positive.
Pull was great
Push today overall good session minus flat hammer it may need to go depending on how it feels next session we will see.Legs tomorrow
No changes to sessions same volume same sessions exactly just running pull push legs rest repeat

Keep going your still lean another 10 lbs here over next 15 weeks of gaining then hold for 4/5 weeks before you think about a tidy up

Have you ever had injuries that means you have had to take time out of the gym/or very low weight etc for a small period of time?
If so, how did you keep motivation going and how did you overcome this?
I appreciate from your youtube vids you really laser focused, which I have picked up to some extent and I appreciate these videos as it’s helped me. But I have an operation on 3rd Nov and been told I cannot lift for 1 month, I am going to walk 10k steps a day, eat well but not lifting for a month does worry me.
I got stabbed I trained the day after
I sliced my entire left hand open at 15 trained with stitches day after
You can always train, can’t train legs … train upper can’t train upper … train lower
Most docs say you can’t train it’s just nonsense 95% of the time.
I got an abscess and trained with a hole inside me 2/3 days after
This isn’t advice this is just me mate, make your own decisions
Taking time off longer than needed for me just isn’t worth it I just find a way

Start with 2 sets only across all movements 14 sets is still plenty in a session then add more where you can recover
Easier to start with less and add more as you go on
Not starting high and then feeling shit and making little progress

I would use some basal insulin when Gh is in play lantus as it actually isn’t active for longer than 16 hours with m1 just to cover your eating window.
Measuring BG across day is not needed and doesn’t give any indication, BG too high not good also BG too low not good ( people brag with low BG across day but that’s actually not ideal ) you want controlled BG across
Check HBA1c for true sensitivity levels, you can be insulin resistant and still show good fasting BG

Rest day, 255, feeling lean energy is good mood is great and I’m in a very good place
Doesn’t really feel like prep prep just yet, few more weeks and it will as my glutes are less and less fat 🙂
We’re ahead of last year at same weeks out and 10 lbs heavier lol happy

Excellent sessions, both push and pull flying, legs today then I will likely take 2 days rest as I feel I need it, this is beauty of higher frequency you can auto regulate xtra rest as of when needed and still hit more frequent sessions, il see how I feel tomorrow on rest and decide, then I will do pull push legs – main reason my back is always cooked before I go into legs and it’s affecting my bracing on squat & Rdl. So I need those days apart
Then I can see if pull before push affects my press work or not and see how it feels over next few sessions.
