    At a certain point of a competition diet this is something you have to learn to deal with , what always helps is focusing on your longterm goal and seeing such days as a challenge which will pass !

    It’s not necessary when you have an very active life, personally I like to keep my cardio in offseason for cardiovascular fitness, of course less frequent than in prep.
    Some people also use cardio in off season for a better appetite and digestion

    Early Personal Training with clients today, later I trained arms! Yes arms ????! Have been a long time but I got 2 h left between clients so I did arms, cardio and abs ! Was really cool but as I said not my normal setup, Weight went up to 69kg and I’m feeling good !

    Great upper body pump session ! Haha that sounds really dump and I hate it ???????? but as my coach said now we chill and enjoy ! I love to train intense but my body will thank me for more rest and regeneration

    Todays setup

    – rear delts (DB, Incline bench)
    – Seal row
    -db shoulderpress
    -latpulldown
    -weighted dips
    -cable rows
    -machine curls
    -ab wheel

    Thanks for the reply!
    I think that’s going to be a good way to go for me too – it’ll at least get me to the gym to get me my daily fix. It’s sitting at home on an evening after work that I struggle with when it comes to more rest days a week. I’m going to try and commit to the 3 days rest per week to begin with for the sake of sticking to the plan to a tee but i’ll assess after a couple of weeks whether I could drop to 2 rest days.

    Yeah I absolutely know the feeling of okay I‘m at home got some free time let’s train ???? but you have to be smart and rest ! Watching some videos from the page also helps a lot, more information about training and nutrition and of course some extra motivation for the next training session ????????

    I‘m using the hypervolt massage gun from time to time but it’s not comparable with a deep tissue massage, Imo a real fascia massage will help more !

    Only adding 100cal per week is not enough imo and this could cause the binge eating.
    Increase calories a little bit more and add food you like , 1-2x a week always depending on condition

    There could be many reasons why your arms are not responding like the rest keep an eye on exercise execution, training frequency and volume ! Do you have some by your side coach, personal trainer ?

    And aaaaagain rest day for me !
    We had a great breakfast to celebrate our 2 year anniversary and I ate like a pig???? yesterday also ( real Italian pizza) but really don’t care, yes of course weight will be up tomorrow but as I said balance is key so for tomorrow a little bit less carbs and cardio ????

    Missing training a little bit but tomorrow it’s time for a good upper body session !

    Rest day again currently sitting on the bike for fasted cardio, weight stays between 67-68 kg and I’m eating what I want when I want.
    I think this could be dangerous for many athletes post competition but this worked always for me. Don’t get me wrong I‘m still making sure to eat my needed macros but if I‘m hungry after a meal I’ll def go for more or a little piece of dessert 🙂
    Having this freedom really helps me reduce stress and enjoying life for the next two months . When u compete in two season back to back it’s necessary to get your mind free for some weeks.

    Make sure to place carbs around and during your workout the rest is person depending.. I have always carbs for breakfast because it works for me but they are not really necessary 🙂
