Good morning! Had a rest day yesterday. Forgot to weigh myself this morning. Smashed in breakfast then headed off to work! Got some repossessions booked in this morning before heading to the gtm for Quads with the giant in the hoodie after lunch!

You thought about maybe trying digestive enzymes with your meals I used to have really bad digestion problems and they worked wonders for me “solgar” digestive enzymes from Holland and barret and a pro biotic in the morning to keep the stomach bacteria healthy. Made a massive difference with me. Dunno if that’s helpful but thought I might aswell write it ????
Hi Jimmy, I have been using the bulk powders digestive enzymes and the supplements probiotics and the TrainedByJP nutrition glutamine which I do think all help. I just think it’s the volume of food. I’m gonna try the solgar enzymes and see if they’re any better. Thanks buddyLouisMoylan

Hi Alva, push pull legs is a great routine. There are other training splits out there. I always aim for progressive overload no matter what split I’m using or what my goal is in terms of growing or trying to lose body fat.

Back/Calves
All working sets 6-8 Reps
Warm up with lat pull downs
Bodyweight Pull ups – as many sets until you reach 50 reps – strict form, straight up and down no swinging
V-Bar Pulldowns – elbows tucked in in front of you – 3 sets
Low Row – 3 sets
Chest Supported Dumbbell Row(lay belly down on incline bench) 3 sets
Deadlifts from floor – 3 sets(you will need to warm up to your weight here since your lower back hasn’t worked much)
Standing Calf Raises supersetted with Seated Calf Raises – change rep range here to 12-15 reps – only take 40-60 second between sets – total 5 sets

Good morning guys, weight was 90.0 this morning and I feel tired! I didn’t sleep great. Only managed to get 5 meals in yesterday and still went to bed really full up. On a better note I had an awesome back workout yesterday which I will post below! I do really enjoy this back routine! Even starting to enjoy doing deadlifts at the end of it haha!

Good to see the meals going in more easily mate, record timing according to your insta! I see you’re doing 5 sets of squats at 6-8 reps? That sounds horrid, how do the numbers look with so many working sets on that compound?
Hey Matt! The food is a struggle I can’t lie haha! Numbers are good I definitely have to back off the weight slightly on the latter sets to keep the intensity going to failure. I wouldn’t be going to true failure if I used the same weight each set!! Just have to go all out and hope for the best!

Hi Bradley, I’m not the biggest mini cut fan if I’m honest. If I’m cutting then I’m prepping for a show! That’s it! However I would just suggest you get down to a level of body fat that your happy with looking in the mirror before you start to push calories up again.

Good morning! Fasted weight was 89.0 this morning. Really struggled but got ALL 6 meals in yesterday and went to bed completely full up!! Woke up full still but slapped in breakfast ontop. I actually overslept so I’ll be heading to the gym soon. I had an awesome chest and shoulder workout yesterday at kings. Hit some good numbers and got a great pump. I am enjoying the new plan. In talks with Justin now about these digestive issues so we shall see.

Hey everyone! Had a nice day off the gym yesterday. Got some work done then popped out in the evening other than that pretty chilled! Went to bed early but didn’t really sleep great! But I’ve had a few meals in me already today and I’m going to pack my gym bag and head off to the gym to train shortly! Have you guys been training? On nutrition plans during the holiday period?

Hi Paul, personally I don’t have bacon in my diet. I belive there are better protein sources and better heathy fat sources to get calories from than bacon. From a bodybuilding perspective, I don’t think they have much nutritional value. However for my clients that don’t comepete and are just living a normal lifestyle I’ve got no problem with them having bacon in their diet. A few slices, preferably grilled and usually in a ProFat meal.

Hi Gain, there’s nothing wrong with consuming raw egg whites in my opinion. As long as they don’t interfere with your digestion give them a go.
Alright thanks man! Well yeh, believe it or not, but (cooked) egg whites are my main protein source every single day. Both in bulk and cut. Thats a lot of egg whites every day lol, but for some reason, I digest them super well. Let’s hope it’s the same when consumed raw in a shake!

If you can take them in easily go for it buddy! Keep us posted on how it goes down!LouisMoylan

Goood morning! Had an awesome hamstring and calf session down at kings gym yesterday. Hit some decent numbers on RDL with much improved form so I’m happy with that. Chilled in the evening just making sure I was getting food in. Managed 5 meals before I past out from being tired!! Today is a rest day so I will try and stay active and chill this evening so I can have a great workout tomorrow!

Good morning guys and girls! I had a great chest and shoulder workout yesterday! Mainly shoulder dominant but I had a really good chest pump at the end. No aches and pains either which was awesome! I rested last night I didn’t go out. Managed to get 4 meals in which isn’t ideal but I will try my best to get more In today after training hamstrings in the afternoon!

Hack Squat – normal foot placement – 3 sets – you should be getting stuck at the bottom on this – on the last set do a drop set
Rope Crunch – 3 sets of 20-25 reps(no need for heavy weight on this but you still hit failure at a high higher rep range)

How are you finding your training split and recovery?
Hey Rhea Gayle IFBB Pro. I am so honoured that you’ve taken the time to read my log! Fully star struck! I’m loving the new routine and to be honest recovery hasn’t been optimal lately however, I haven’t not been sleeping well and I’ve been a bit ill of late so not been eating all of my nutrition! So Over the next few weeks I will try and get everything in order and then I can give Justin feedback on the recovery from the training in diet!_________________________________________

The pleasure is mine! Training looks intense and different to most which is interesting to see!
Yes so many factors can affect recovery! Do you take anything or do anything to aid sleep??
Yes the training has been different but I am enjoying it. I don’t use any sleep aids no! I take enough pills as it is!LouisMoylan
