Pull Workout – 11/08/19

Cable Pullover – 3 x 12-15
BB RDL – 1 Load, 1 Back Off

Chest Supported Tbar Row – 1 Load, 1 Back Off

Lat Pull Down Wide – 1 Load, 1 Back Off

Cable Pulley Wide Neutral Grip – 1 Load, 1 Rest Pause

Machine Row Plate Loaded Single Arm – 1 Load, 1 Back Off
Reverse Fly Machine – 3 x 15-20 (dropped by 5kgs each set)
Machine Shrug Seated – 2 Load, 1 Back Off

Strict DB Curl Back Leaning On Pad – 2 x 12-15

Cable Curl Upright – 1 Load, 1 Rest Pause

Calf Press – 4 x 12-20

Abs – 4 x 15-20

That sounds like a lot of volume, granted the back can handle a lot. Do you feel recovery is still good with this volume? Especially with rest pauses
I don’t usually do that much volume but yesterday I was on one haha so wanted to add in some extra exercises and sets yesterday! I have some good DOMs today but I do feel shattered and I had a good sleep and some good food after! I’m still recovering just in time for the next session so I’ll keep Rest Pause in for now. Trying to keep strength high so they will help! How much volume do you tend to do?

Looks good to me buddy let me know how using fats instead of carbs impacts your stomach and digestion!

Hi Louis, I have diverticular disease and since lowering carbs and eliminating most vegetables, my digestion is great. I don’t eat nuts or foods with seeds/skin so no tomatoes, cucumber, courgettes etc and avoid most cruciferous vegetables and salads due to gastric distress.
If your digestion is much better stick with it buddy! Digestion is really important!

Hey buddy, main sources right now are:

Free Range Whole Eggs

Turkey Bacon

Chicken
Beef

Salmon

Whey Isolate

SKYR Yoghurt

What sources do you use buddy?

Hey Louis, I assume this was for me ????

Here’s my list:

Eggs

Ground chicken/beef/turkey

Quark/Yogurt

Cottage cheese

Whey Isolate

And I friggin love skyr as well, there are so many flavors to choose from these days. Unfortunately those are a bit too expensive for my budget so have to rely on these cheaper products for now on…
Yes for you mate!

The SKYR in large Tesco stored is 3 tubs for £3 mate so for £1 a tub you can’t really go wrong! My fave is strawberry! Pretty similar food choices apart from the cottage cheese!

Hey buddy! Always had problems with shoulders I think most people do! Try and rest and train around it and avoid sleeping in awkward positions for your shoulders!

Hey buddy, I personally always shoot for the higher amount of it just to make sure I’m covered. I do believe highly in protein as it really is the building block for building and maintaining muscle tissue in my eyes. I’m 194lbs so I’m consuming just under 300g of protein per day approx spread over 6 meals. How much are you taking in now?
