Hi guys happy Wednesday. Busy day! Up for a walk, check ins and work, in for hams, glutes and delts. Great session! Everything is going up. No issues with SI although I don’t feel 100% popped over to see my grandmother, back home to continue work and finally dinner and a very late quick shop as I forgot oats and blueberries yesterday! Finally ready for bed

If you are dieting right now and the goal is to lose body fat, continue on till you’re lean and then focus on growing. If you’ve been training for the last 4 months then yes, the chances are your muscles are more visible because you’re leaner. It’s unlikely you’ve put on notable muscle mass. Continue dieting till you’re lean and then focus on improving your physique in a dedicated growth phase. Do you see any bodybuilders or people with great physiques stop training while they’re dieting? Likely not. Be patient and keep doing what you’re doing. Cutting out training while you’re dieting is a surefire way to lose muscle and put you in a worse off position to start a growth phase. I advise against that

Hi guys rest day today, check ins, prep for the event next week and training analysis. Finally chilling this evening and I feel more so that I need to book in with a chiro. I may try my chances with someone more local to me as over the next two weeks I’m really tight for time but I don’t want to leave this to slowly get worse. Now that I’ve felt the signs I won’t ignore it!

If you want to make notable change to your physique the best way is dieting till you’re lean and then focusing on growth and repeating the process. Yes, it’s possible for some to gain a little muscle but to really make change to your physique I wouldn’t waste my time trying to sit at maintenance

Hi guys busy Monday! Up for a walk, breakfast and straight into check ins and programs. In for quads and glutes and I literally had to double check that I hadn’t mis-loaded shit because I was suspiciously strong. Fantastic session however I am starting to feel signs of needing to see my chiro and get some bodywork done. Back home to continue on work for the day and now chilling. Digestion has still been off today but after a few days of normal food and a rest day tomorrow I’m sure I’ll be fine

Agree with Hilly here!
I think you need to allow yourself time and patience for things to settle and regulate. Make sure you are;
-No longer in a deficit
-Managing stress, sleep and overall recovery to the best of your ability
-Allowing necessary body fat to come on (as hilly mentioned)I’d suggest if you have funds to get some bloodwork done and then after some time (a month or two) being in a solid routine and allowing for the above to happen, you get bloodwork done again to assess your health.

Hi guys happy Sunday. I had a lie in and honestly I regret it because it made the day so much more rushed and hectic. Up for a walk, breakfast, work, over to my nans to make her some lunch/dinner and spend some time helping her around the house, back home to continue laptop work and then our for an off plan at a lovely Iraqi place nearby. It has my seal of approval as it was similar to foods my dad and Nan made for me growing up. Back home to squeeze in some final bits of work and now finally bed. Digestion hasn’t been great over today and yesterday so hopefully better after a day of normality tomorrow

Agree with Hilly here! As long as you digest 225/250g of direct protein then you’re all good

Hi guys happy weekend. A busier day then expected and for that my digestion has suffered. Up for a walk and the usual morning routine and then was hit by an unexpected workload this morning and so training got pushed back. Still went in and had a great session but I went much longer than anticipated without a meal. It is what it is! Not great. Continued on with the day however I’m ending the day super bloated and uncomfortable. Tomorrow will be better!

Hi guys! Back into my usual Friday routine! Up for a wet and windy walk, breakfast, check ins and laptop work before heading in for my usual Friday leg session. For the past 2 weeks I’ve squeezed in more hamstring work as I chose to train 3 days instead of 4 so I wouldn’t be rushing and find myself struggling to fit training around busy weekends. Went back to my usual session structure and it was so good to be back. Pendulum was taken and so chose to hack squat. I surprised myself massively managing to handle decent load considering I haven’t hack squat in such a long time. Back home after training back to my laptop and now chilling for the evening!

Hiya Lago, I totally agree with Kuba. I think when you’re able to rationalise and understand that it’s not possible for you to go backwards by resting, your mind will be at ease. When you feel rested and after you ease back in, this mental battle you’re having will be a thing of the past. It will also be something you can remember in the future so you don’t beat yourself up about it when you find yourself in a situation similar to this at some point. It happens! Experiencing this now, and resting now will help your future self!

Yes, it can be normal. Give yourself a chance to gain momentum. From my experience it’s different from person to person. If you were feeling particularly beat up (I think you’re 3 weeks post show) don’t get caught up expecting your lifts to be A1

Hi guys rest day today and I was pretty much at my laptop all day. Check ins, training analysis, yoga show stuff. Had a few walks in between and before I knew it it was getting dark! Ready for a full leg session tomorrow and then my usual routine with my Saturday session!

Without sounding totally unempathetic to your situation, are you not able to set in with other members using the equipment you want to use? You pay for a membership just as they do and so they should let you set in. I know it’s frustrating when you want to just get on with it but if you have no other option this might be the only way
