Hi guys, the usual Wednesday was had! Up for a walk, check-ins and work and then in for hams, glutes and delts. Great session, no SI issues and everything is feeling good, hard but good! Headed over to my grandma’s to have a chat, have a tea and some porridge and then back home to continue and finish off work for the day. Resting tomorrow

Hiya Damian. Essentially yes. However, if you’re looking to make noticeable change to your physique/strength, you have to rationalise with yourself about that level of discomfort. Are you progressing with lifts? Are you getting heavier over time? How is your composition? If you solely focus on the feeling of discomfort emotionally, you may be more inclined to diet before you really need to.

Hi guys! Busy Tuesday. Rest day, but a lot of laptop work DONE. All exhibitor forms have been completed for the yoga show for MAD. Check-ins, new programs and boring insurance stuff too are all sorted. Quick food shop this evening and now ready to chill before tomorrow comes!
As for an update on my building phase. My weight is slowly on the rise, food has gone up over the past couple of weeks, and I’m just doing the do. The main goal is obviously bigger legs, quads, hams, glutes, calves, but, also to balance my left and right glutes a little better. Bring on the next 20+ weeks, cause ya girl can eat… and for the most part not completely break when I train.

Hiya Dev, totally agree with needing a little more detail. What is your goal? To lose a little body fat? To make weight for a weight class in a performance sport? To get lean for competition? If we know the scale of your goal and what you’re trying to achieve, we can be a lot more specific and helpful with our responses.

Hi guys happy Monday! Busy day. Up for a quick walk, breakfast, check ins and client work, packing mad orders and then in a little later than usual for quads and glutes. I had an amazing session. Massive quad pump likely from some extra yums yesterday. Back home to continue on with a bit of work and finish for the day. Chilling this evening before a busy day at the laptop tomorrow

Hiya Jack, I could be wrong but from what I remember you’re 3 weeks post show. If things are moving well (food, composition, performance) I’d have a few days of complete rest and then get back into the gym and you should feel okay to pick up where you left off. Do keep in mind what the others have mentioned too around sleep as it’s more important than you think!

Hi guys happy Sunday. Up for a chilly walk, breakfast and then a little work getting everyone set up for the week ahead. Spent the afternoon celebrating my sisters birthday and spending time with family. Feel like unfortunately I may be coming down with some kind of a cold but we shall see!

Hiya Jack, 3 weeks post show isn’t a long time at all especially if you showed up in condition. If you’re feeling shattered and sleep is being affected I’d de-load or spend some time, a week or two maintaining lifts or even leaving a rep or two in the tank rather than pushing for progress right now.

Hi guys, busy day today! Up to Maidenhead for the 2 bros naturals with my client Beth, she did so well and wrapped her season with 4th in true novice and 5th in the open. Onto a steady reverse and productive offseason! Back home to continue with check ins and chill for the evening

Hi guys happy Friday! Another busy day done! Up for a walk, check ins, client calls and then in for a full leg session. Really good session but it’s started to get considerably colder in the gym now. I struggled to get warm! Added in a few hamstring movements that I’d usually do in tomorrows session however I’m spending the day with my client Beth for her second show of the season! Back home after to continue on with work, quick food shop and meal prep and now finally bed

Hi guys happy Thursday! Rest day today and quite a bit of work to get through. Up for a walk, check ins a walk into town and then continued with a few more programs and editing! I’ve agreed very last minute to bring MAD. Back to the OM Yoga Show at Alexandria Palace again as i did have a lot of fun last year even if it did wreck me. Prep bits for that to come soon

I’d defo consider the must 5 bundle as covering a lot of basic needs in regard to supplementation. You could also try some sachets of cream of rice to find a flavour you enjoy then commit to a bigger bag. It’s super cost effective and easy to digest 👍🏼 lots of other fun stuff like the pre workouts (stim or no stim) and then things like dream sleep or unwind to aid in recovery. I use all of the above on a daily basis

Hi guys, busy day today! Up for a walk, check ins and client calls then in for hams glutes and delts. Really good session! I’m pretty much in a place where I can push load a touch on near everything. How exciting. Popped over to see my grandma and then back home to continue with check ins, training analysis and then a quick shop for proteins (forgot yesterday) my final meal and now chilling!

Hi Jack, I agree with everyone above. Having good connection can defo be a great indication of accuracy and ideally you’d connect well with most isolation exercises however, don’t get so carried away with chasing sensation that you don’t progress movements. Louis example of the bench press was great to keep in mind.
