Hi guys, very early start today! Up at 5 to leave at 6 to head over to my chiro. I know it sounds insane traveling near 2 hours to get bodywork but it’s now the end of the day and I feel quite a bit better in comparison to the past week or two. In short I was very tight everywhere. Particularly my back and upper back, my glutes and neck were also very tight. I’ve been instructed to roll out my glutes as much as I can. I’m next booked in for week after next. For further treatment. Well worth it. As I started off the day super early I continued on the day as usual after I got back with check ins and work

Hiya Matej, I think you’ve mentioned a few times now some parts of your body causing you pain while training some movements. I think regular bodywork would be great for you to look in to if you’re feeling pain in a few different areas regularly. As for leg extension, maintain a neutral head position and try to avoid jerking your head as you extend your legs. The guys above have given solid advice to try too

Hi guys. Slightly different Tuesday with training today. Man I can’t wait to see my chiro tomorrow. Hinge movements are an issue for me right now so did my usual glute ham session minus bstance rdls. Hopefully tomorrow’s visit will be helpful even if it is a super early start!

If I get stuck in situations like that I usually say ‘ah mate I’m in a rush’ or ‘let me get through my session and we’ll continue this convo later’ After setting that boundary people should get a clue 👍🏼 if they don’t or it’s people you honestly don’t care to speak to, you can be a bit more blunt!

Hi guys, I hope you’ve had a fab start to your week. Same Monday as always! Up for a rainy walk, breakfast and then work! In for quads and glutes again today. My SI is not great, but not as bad as it’s been previously. I’ve managed to get booked in for this Wednesday. The catch is it’s at 8:15 am… and so I’ll have to be up and leaving here at something stupid like 6 am. I’ll do it. I did look around for a chiropractor in south london but honestly, i KNOW i can go somewhere and feel batter andd so i don’t want to fuck around. I’ll adjust training and work at the front end of this week; it’ll be worth it.

Hiya Joe, just chiming in, I’ve never used elbow sleeves but I do like wearing knee sleeves. I have a suuuuper old pair of SBD knee sleeves that have been hanging on for dear life for honestly like 5+ years now. I would suggest the tbjp ones but if they’re not in your size strength shop isn’t a bad option 👍🏼

Hello hello a chilled Sunday today. Up for a walk. Breakfast and a little work getting everyone set up for the week. Been chilling on the sofa and doing bits in town (food shopping and packing orders) watching the end of a movie now then likely bed 💫

Hiya Damian, great that you’ve found a gym that keeps you excited about training.
    – nothing wrong with a V squat machine. It’s person dependant. Some get along great with it and some don’t.
    – single leg ham curl is great. If people don’t have access to a machine version of this you can literally do any normal lying/seated curl with one leg than the other. Very normal to adjust load as you’re using one leg.
    – I’ve heard good things about BPC157. I have no personal experience here but some of the team might.
    – as for HRT, it totally depends on the person so I think saying 40+ is a very generalised statement

Hi guys happy Saturday. Had a little lie in, breakfast and then some work. Ended up training a little later than usual as I was back and forth with a client with some editing adjustments. Trained hams and glutes. Starting to feel a pull in my adductor/groin region so hoping my chiro will have availability this week. Back home to finish off a little work, went on a walk and now ready for bed

Have you addressed what the issue is with your knee? Seen a physio/osteo/chiro and received treatment or diagnosis?

Hi guys happy Friday. Up for a walk, breakfast work and then in for training. Legs today (quads and glutes and one hamstring movement) adjusted load slightly for the sake of my SI. All in all a good session. Did some posing after. Very tempted to get a shorter pair of heels to see if I have better control and sit better in my poses. Back home to corrections for editing and client work. So much back and forth and unfortunately still not done. Just finished my final meal ready for bed

Hiya John, is this also in reference to your question about feeling pretty fatigued?

Hi guys. Rest day today, a LOT of laptop work, editing, calls and check ins. Went for a short walk in the evening and so ready for bed.

I would say 5 seconds is quite a long time to sit in the stretched position. I think it’s good to execute the movement with control rather than rely on momentum to bounce up. Much like any movement, perform it with control. If that means pausing for a moment in the stretched position go for it.
