Hi guys! Rest day today and another day of check ins, packing orders and general ‘life’ food shopping, meal prepping and now hopefully chilling! Bodyweight did a massive drop this morning which is interesting! In tomorrow for hams and glutes

Hi guys happy bank holiday Monday. Packing final orders from the mad sale. Some more have come through tonight. But that’s tomorrow’s problem. Check in with myself this morning, Trained a little later today as I had to pick up Louis from the airport. I thought I finessed the timing, as usually on a bank holiday the gym is RAMMED early so I figured I’d train a little later before close (3pm) it was fucking heaving. Quads and glutes was still very good! Very happy with my efforts, strength holding very well. I’m down just over 4kg over this tidy up phase. I have a trip to Italy at the end of this week. Post Italy trip I’ll go back to baseline kcals i’ve been following and likely continue on dieting for a short period of time before eating up all over again 💫

Hi guys happy Sunday. Another rest day for me. Up and out for a walk, breakfast, client work, packing orders for MAD. and a LOT of housework. Feels like there wasn’t enough time in the day today. Wrapping up the day for now as I’ve had a couple of late nights and can defo feel it catching up with me.

Hi guys, another later night than usual happy Saturday! Up after a little lie in, out for a walk and breakfast. Did a little work and then off to train hams and glutes with Neca at Kings. Without sounding like a cunt, I don’t particularly like training with anyone. I really enjoy training alone. I don’t struggle to push myself ever and enjoy the time I spend with myself in the gym with my headphones on zoned out. I have very few acceptions to this and Neca is one of them. She has fantastic legs and is bigger and stronger than me so I’m happy to listen, watch, learn and discuss with her. Fantastic session. Came home and pretty much zoned out. Had a bath. Just finished my final meal and I’m ready to sleep. I did start my cycle today so feeling particularly tired and even more so after the session we had today.

I agree with everyone above. Kamara made some really valid points as to why a ‘dirty bulk’ is a pretty bad way to try and grow. Loss of appetite and digestive issues can make eating such a chore. Without painting everyone with the same brush, a lot of people who claim to be ‘hard gainers’ often aren’t eating as much as they think as it’s usually based on estimates!
Track your food accurately and choose calorie-dense foods as Kam mentioned like bagels, jam, and honey. Drink some of your carbs from things like orange juice with each meal. Consider including things like dried fruits and nuts in your diet. There are so many ways to increase kcals without increasing the volume of food on your plate.
I suggest you create a plan with foods you actually enjoy and digest well. Putting effort into your meals and picking things you enjoy makes the whole process a lot easier to adhere to. The guys above mentioned some really good options. From there if you’re struggling to increase kcals we can help by suggesting ways to increase kcals without affecting volume.

I totally agree with Andy and Allison! Totally normal to hold some water for a period of time post show if routine and food is different. Resume your usual cleaner meals, routine, hydration and sleep and you’ll likely feel less bloated in time.

Hi guys. Very busy day today! Up for a walk, breakfast and work, then off to train hams glutes and a bit of delts. Great session just in a little later than intended! Then popped over to see my grandma and spent some time with her then back home to finish off work for the day, finish a LARGE chunk of steps not hit then finally dinner and now soon bed. My right knee feels a bit shit so will make an effort to stretch surrounding areas as that worked well last week

I second what rich has asked! How have things been since? In the grand scheme of things, if you’re not injured or in pain, visuals look similar, recovery is good and training hasn’t changed, I’d focus on continuing to work on those push exercises. Reset load and make sure you’re moving accurately as Marc mentioned. Or change out your movements. While it’s frustrating, likely nothing to panic about and you can still make progress.

Hi guys! Rest day for me today. A lot of laptop work, check ins, packing orders for MAD as I’ve just started a week long birthday sale. Very proud that MAD is somehow still standing! Steps hit, meals eaten and most of my work complete for the day. I feel content ✨

Reading your words honestly gave me a lot of perspective and helped me calm down mentally. I’m learning to be less hard on myself when things go out of my control, and your support really meant a lot in a week like this.
I know I’m still young and have a lot to learn but I’m hungry for it, and everything I go through teaches me something new.
I’ll be back home tomorrow night, and from Monday I’m locking straight back in
one step at a time, with full focus and patience.
