Hi guys! My training week started today. Usual morning routine followed by some check ins and then in for Quads and Glutes. Really good session. Absolutely buried myself on the leg press. Smith squats felt great and I’m steadily climbing up to 3 plates. Happy all round with my efforts. Back home to continue check ins and pack orders for MAD for the rest of the evening before FaceTiming family and chatting/chilling x

    Hiya Joan.

I agree with everyone above. Steps are great to keep in year round and serve their purpose in an offseason as well as in a diet phase. As Kamra and others mentioned, steps burn kcals but I do find that steps have also helped me a lot with digestion in offseason when food is high.

Hi guys, slightly different Monday. Up and out for a walk and then drove up to Essex for a chiro appointment. Back home at 2pm and continued the day as a rest day completing a new program + walkthrough and training analysis. Spent a lot of the evening catching up with a friend on the phone and finally getting to bed

Hiya Daniel. If it’s all that you have it’s defo worth at least a try. I suggest you try it yourself and see how well you’re able to progress it. If you find that stability becomes a limiting factor (as it might) try and incorporate a tempo. I do find that cables can be great if you’re able to get the set up right. If anything try Copenhagen hip addictions. Might not be as much bang for your buck in regards to hypertrophy for adductors but if you’re stuck with little equipment they’re great

Hiya Jort, I agree with all the guys above! Try and get yourself booked in with someone as soon as you can. While you wait I’d suggest avoiding movements that cause it further pain/discomfort 👍🏼

Hi guys, usual Saturday has been had! Up for breakfast after a lie in, a little work and then out for my final session of the week, glutes hams and delts. All in all a good session minus struggles holding on to dumbbells with slippy straps. I need to rough mine up or use a little chalk as they’re a little too ‘new’ and we’re sliding off as I was doing db rdls. Happy with my efforts. Back home to finish off meals and chill!

Hi guys. Very happy it’s Friday. Up and out for a very chilly walk, work and then in for legs. Happy with my efforts today and then back home to finish off work, quick food shop and chill. 🧘🏻‍♀️

Hiya Fred, I agree with both above. Also, it’s totally valid to look at your own experience with keeping them both in even if they’re both lat based. Are you continually making progress? Do you enjoy the movements? Are you getting bigger? If so continue on!

Hi guys, super cold today! Up an out for a walk, breakfast, work then gym. It was absolutely dead in the gym today, lovely! Hams glutes and delts, happy with everything! Up on almost all movements by a smidge but it counts. Popped to my grandmas to have a cuppa and a chat. Then back home to pack MAD orders and finish up for the day. Very much ready for bed 👍🏼

    Heya DM
Having TD kcals and NTD kcals serve its purpose for energy and recovery demands. So opting for that I feel is often better than eating your weekly average every day as you often don’t need as many kcals for a rest day. Weekly average is a thing, and can sometimes be useful to know. I prefer to have TD/NTD. It’s person dependant and many people eat the same kcals day in day out and enjoy it/make progress just fine.

Also, bodyweight is the sum of many things such as digestion, water, stress, recovery, hormones and likely other things I’m forgetting to mention.
It’s likely your weight fluctuations are due to the sum of those things.

Hi guys! Big laptop day today. Check ins, emails, client calls and squeezing meals in between. Happy that I managed to wrap up at a decent time today. Slept SO much better last night so fingers crossed for continued good sleep

Hiya Alex, I wholeheartedly agree with Jordan. Keep volume as is. If you prioritise quad movements like leg extension pre something like a hack/pendulum and continue to train them with as low of a foot position as mobility will allow, know that you’re doing all that you can to improve! Big glutes are most definitely not a bad thing. Perhaps performing a tempo (323) so you’re forced to slow down and control load through your quads more vs glutes. It’s worked well for me previously 👍🏼

Hello hello happy Monday and proper start to 2025. Up and out for another super wet and windy walk, breakfast and then work. Got to the gym a little earlier too to try avoid the busy-ness and it actually wasn’t too bad! Had a fantastic session, up on load with a lot of movements. I do find I come in for this Mondays session and KILL myself in a good way. Very satisfying. Back home to continue on with client work and pack orders/exchanges for MAD and then a quick shop and some chicken prep. Didn’t sleep super well last night so hopefully in for a good night sleep tonight x
