Hi Kuba,
I recently bought a Yum Asia rice cooker.
Now I’m just trying to figure out the right water-to-rice ratio.
The rice keeps sticking no matter what I try.
Could I ask how many grams of water you use for, say, 100 grams of rice?
Do you wash the rice beforehand?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards.
For 100g rice I would add 120 ml water
Currently I do 550g rice raw per day total with 700 ml water sushi rice is best and sticky mix
Wash rice before always to get all shit off it
I cook rice exactly the same way you do! When I use more water, it loses its texture and flavor. Condensed rice is also more satiating because it takes a bit longer to digest. Kuba, how long after finishing your workout do you eat your post-workout meal?

My room is fully aired out and completely darkened, with the temperature set at 17°C. For my last meal, I have carbs, protein, and a bit of fat, but I’ve tried various strategies and none of them have brought any results.

I had my tests done: FT4 is in the middle of the normal range and FT3 is at the upper limit. There is no hyperthyroidism.

What did you change in your diet after consulting with Jordan?
You don’t eat any vegetables at all? I know that on one hand they can slow digestion, but on the other hand, not having them at all could completely mess things up.John

Definitely, that makes sense! But is there any way to counteract this? I’ve also noticed that during the day I feel sleepy and have brain fog.

How do you find the Reta on the bulk I feel soo bloated on it
I use 0,3 mg until max 0,5 a day and i dont have problem, it remove me food cravings amd i follow easily my diet
Haven’t you noticed that your stomach is a bit more bloated? When I used 0.5 mg twice a week, I didn’t feel any appetite suppression, but I did notice that my stomach emptied much more slowly, which made my midsection look less ideal than without the reta.

Were you in stage condition when you tested this ? Because it will also be a very easy thing to taper down in the last couple weeks also back. Stage condition when stomach empties insanely fast + a taper back to a dose where you do have control even in a non stage ready condition , will see you perfect
Yes, I’m in the middle of contest prep and without reta my stomach empties very fast, waist control is perfect. Adding even 250 mcg of reta already slows intestinal transit. I could run reta up to 3 weeks out, but I’m worried that on show day my waist control might be worse.

250 mcg twice a week already causes a slowdown in gastric motility. Normally, 15–20 minutes after every meal I can do a vacuum, but when using 0.5 mg of reta per week I can’t, because even though I feel hungry, my stomach is still full. Digestion is definitely a bit worse. For me, perfect abdominal control is the priority, so reta is not an option in my case.

Great feedback on retatrutide. And did you notice any effect on appetite at 1 mg?
What mainly holds me back from retatrutide is the concern that even at a low dose my waist could suffer due to slowed gastric motility.John

Have you noticed that after dropping reta your mid-section tightened up? I’m asking because a lot of people report the same thing.

Your food intake is already quite high – do you plan to remove the Reta over time? Because according to studies, even a small dose slightly slows down gastric emptying.

Thank you so much for all the detailed answers! What I actually meant was whether having a small amount of carbs in my pre-workout meal could be an issue, since it’s only about 40 grams of carbs but I don’t feel like it negatively affects my performance during training.

Kuba, are you still working with Dean?
You look incredible in your Instagram photos! Your condition is even better than during your show! Are you considering using reta in the offseason? Because according to studies, even a small dose slightly slows down gastric emptying, and I know people who used 0.5 mg every other day and experienced a significant drop in appetite during prep.John

Does the social media criticism affect you at all? Especially when it’s coming from a few IFBB Pros- I was looking through the comments on Beyond The Stage’s Instagram, and some of them were among the harshest I’ve ever seen.
I also saw that criticism on social media. I believe constructive criticism is good, but most of the criticism directed at Kuba was unjustified.

At this stage you’re already at around 1000 g of carbs, which is a huge amount and will probably increase ( is the sticky rice measured raw? ) What’s the highest amount of carbs you’ve ever eaten in the offseason? Do you currently have no vegetables in your diet?
