Hello mate, origins can come from injury or the need to see a physio more often, and sometimes execution when you do bilateral exercises. Intention into the right side isn’t there or alignement of structure of your body isn’t there.
Record yourself at the gym
Check. Physio. Often.
And on top of this : daily activities emphasis this gap.
Exemple : bikini npc posing : we twist waist on one side only for the posing on front pose; if you don’t force the twist an equivalent number of time on the other side; you will create imbalances at the gym.
When i was posing both side for hips/waist twisting; i was proportionnal left and right.
When i started to pose only on one side for the stage; a gap started to appear btw my left and right side on all muscles.
You need to see if you don’t do smg into your life just alway on one side (sleeping also!!!!, laying and watching tv on the side etc) which could create this gap
If you did not injured yourself; cause i guess you did not as you said “entire body right side is different” then it’s from your home posture.
No matter what you do at home; make sure if you do on the left side; you balance doing it also on the right. Turning your neck, turning your lower back, crossing legs, sleeping etc etc
Big thanks to you and everybody else! I will make sure to follow what u just said and I’ll hope it will work. Once again, thank you very much.

Where are your muscle imbalances? Do you have injuries? How long have you been training? How bad are the imbalances. Please upload photos so we can help you here
It is kinda the whole right side of my body but the most annoying for me is my right bicep and the right side of my back. I’m having trouble with lower back pain but I’ve been trying some excersises and they help a little bit. I’ve been training for probably 3 years now but the imbalance on back started recently, unfortunately I have no photo from now but I will upload as soon as I will take some.

How bad are your muscle imbalances? Have you tried stripping things back to see if you are engaging properly??
Try incorporating unilateral exercises into your training set up
You could also go and see a physio / chiropractor to address any underlying factors
They are not THAT bad but they annoy me so much because I’m a perfectionist and I hate to see even a little bit of imbalance on my body, I think I’m actually doing a really good job at engaging them properly even while doing unilateral excersises.

Alright, thank you.

Yeah I’m seeing the problem now, I should learn to ask myself these questions like if I’m eating right and if I’m really doing what it takes. It is the simple things that I don’t ask myself. So I apologize and I will start eating like how I’m supposed to. Thank you all

May I ask what are yall eating please? That’s the thing I’m struggling with, not knowing how to eat properly so I’d be really REALLY glad if yall could tell me some foods
-
I have to admit that I don’t eat foods that are good for me because I’m doing dirty bulking, I’m sure a lot of you will say that’s a bad thing and yall maybe be right but I think it could work for someone like me. I’m eating 2700-3000 calories sometimes even 4000 but even if its not good food it is weird that I’m loosing weight with that much intake I think, I may be wrong in this but yall can let me know and correct me. Thank you

Hey buddy, I’ve measure my bicep maybe 2 times and I’ve been training for 19 years. I wouldn’t stress about it. Focus on training hard, hitting your arms hard in every workout. Experimenting with different exercises, rep ranges and training techniques to find what gives you the best connection with your biceps and triceps. Another thing, don’t forget about your triceps, they can add a lot of bulk to your arm size. If your assessing too frequently it can be difficult to see huge differences so focus on training and recovery, the size will come in time.
Yeah I was thinking it could be the triceps lacking because I’ve been training for 3 years and seen only a little amount of growth even tho I’ve been destroying them, it is the smallest part of my body along with my chest. I’ve been struggling to grow these two.

Time , ur 16 right ? Measure it again when your 17
I’m 17 but I guess that doesn’t change anything, I just thought it was really weird since I was doing great.

Alright, big thanks to all of you. I’m gonna start doing my cardio

I just ignore those personally, they go away on their own
Thank you Jordan.

I would go and see a physio or sports therapist. You’ll need some soft tissue treatment to release any tight muscles that could be causing the flare, and get advice on exercises and stretches to help strengthen and stabilise the area.
I’ve seen some excersises online so I can try a few of those or like you said, I can go to physio. Thank you Clare.

Hey buddy, is it only this movement that it hurt on? Is this the first time it’s happened? Have you tried warming up very lightly before performing working sets.
It hurts on leg extensions and on hack squats, it started a few days ago but yeah overall this is the first time, and no I have not tried warming up directly before the excersise in the middle of the session

Should’ve think of all this stuff, this was a stupid question from me but thanks to all anyways for response

Hiya Matěj, Alison gave some really helpful advice that you should consider. If you consistently feel pain just doing that movement even after warming up really well, I’d suggest seeing an osteo/chiro/physio and letting them have a look. From there they should let you know if there is any real issue and rehab work to assist. If you don’t consistently feel pain and this is a one off I wouldn’t worry. Out of interest, do you feel this when doing leg extension with both legs?
I do not feel it when im doing leg extensions with both legs but I had to start doing single leg extensions because there is very light weight at our gym[/quote]
Update: I tried it with both legs today and I do feel it for the first 2 reps
