I agree with Clare, your rest days look like when it would be added best to your routine. When it comes to dieting, there may come a time where you may need to adjust things like waking a tad earlier if more cardio in needed in order to get it in

    Morning All

Check in day for me today, sat average. 75.7kg currently. I did an 8 week cycle and that came out 18 days ago.

My food hasn’t changed for some time and still getting some good movement and look on the current. I’m currently 5-6kg above any weight I’ve ever been and the visual look definitely isn’t the worst body comp either, so I’m really happy .

I can’t seem to add pics at the mo so will keep on trying

Perhaps your body is a little fatigued? Are you in a prep, just going with your current cycle? If you are perhaps you’re running a little flat, you do have to run flat sometime to get your physique where it needs to be condition wise, but not for that long you can pull back from it. Are you on prep? When was the last time you took a re-set with energy. whether you’re in an offseason or comp prep?

    Evening Guys

Hammie day here, so the RDL session. I really fabulous session! Going with some higher rep sets this week to give my body and joints a little break from the heavy lifting. With being off from a cycle, I have to be smart and listen to my body in order to keep things moving forwards so some phases like this are needed. For me anyway.

170kg for 10 today. Looking forward to seeing what I can do next rotations hoping for 4 plates and a 5kg

    Rest Day here

A normal rest day morning – work, massage, dog walking, food prep.

I have some admin and work to do today – but apart from that I don’t have many plans, I like a more relaxed weekend of working and being able to see family / friends

It’s super normal for everyone to loose strength when you’ve been out the gym from illness/injury, especially as in these cases you probably won’t have done much moving around

I’d always go in with a devolume approach – for a good week and listening to your body with loads, things will bike back up as Oscar says Paitence is a virtue, rushing anything won’t have a positive outcome

I had one client who is highly sensitive to caffine have it affect her

But on the whole most people are okay with it

I personally like it … makes me feel calm and ready for bed as I enjoy it as part of my last meal

    Hey All

A really great push session today – with PBs all round.

Really really happy with my smith incline press. Just felt really great under the bar and excited to keep on progressing with it.

2 weeks ago tomorrow I came away from my first push phase of the offseason. My TRT, GH, metaformin and Telmarsartan will remain in. We test bloodwork every 8 weeks which will determine whether TRT needs to stay as is or change.

But I’m feeling really great and excited to continue getting strong and improving my physique

We use the DC blocks – I don’t think your going to find any small enough that effective, to be able to pop in your bag. But the DC ones aren’t super heavy and they don’t add too much height off the floor, but enough that helps those with not the longest of arms compared to their legs. I couldn’t comment on the strength shop ones as I haven’t used them

The SBD actually do micro fibre thin ones now so no added assistance from them whatsoever…it would more so be knee wraps that give you actual assistance. I find the strength shop ones not do great in quality. Do you have sore knees / elbows is that why you’re using them?

Prepare pro around 20-30 mins prior to starting.

Your sustain and mps will be your intra workouts. Sustain you can sip on throughout as these are your carbs.

MPS I have in a smaller bottles to have mid way through my training session – otherwise it’s a long old while between your pre and post before having a hit of protein / aminos

    Hope you’re all good

Today was a leg day…I’ve honest burried myself a little I won’t lie from getting stronger than I’ve ever been. Plus I’ve never been this heavy…I was 76kg this morning, that’s big for me and sleeps just taken a huge hit the last few days so k did my usual session minus my smith squat today … hoping this lesser vol and solid sleep and rest day tomorrow will have me good for push on Thursday

Hahaha I feel pathetic but the last few leg sessions with either squats or RDLs ibs just felt a little battered so in order
To keep on going on I need to do this

It will always bias mostly your upper pec but it will use the entrieiry of the pec – I lobe a low inc DB or smith press
