I agree with Nathan – raw cooking for me just keeps my mind at peace. I’ve always done this since I started bodybuilding and feel it works the best. It’s still easy to bulk cook even if cooking raw so it’s not any more time effective to do cooked weight either

Honestly a locally sourced butchers will always be the best option!
Some meal prep companies can be ideal if you are tight on time, but there is nothing better than some real fresh meat, people tend not to go due to cost but I’d rather enjoy what I eat 🙂

It’s super normal having days when you feel this way – we’re all human we all have emotions and we can go from feeling great about things one day to not the next.
The important thing is to look how far you’ve come and see how far you can go if you spend too long focusing on the negatives you’ll pull away from the positives that could be happening

Hey Guys
Rest day for me today – usual week day as a rest day.
Client work, cardio, walking the dogs, eating and cooking.Me and Kuba went to play mini golf with our friends Jayde and Pheobe which was awesome!
Back to do some work before sitting down for the evening. Felt really positive around my check in shots today I feel this is the best I’ve looked, have my bloods booked for this weekend, moving into my 3rd of having everything tested. I think it’s popular now given the health related deaths we’ve seen with bodybuilders but I’ve always seen the importance. I do find it crazy when competitors especially pros don’t get them done, have to keep everything in a good working order IMO to make the most of offseaon and prep.
It’s how we managed to see some help was needed regarding my testosterone. I’ve never been one to push assistance, I’ve never been one to jump from season to season but we did see my testosterone plummet massively post my 2020 prep and it never really came back up after trying many natural remedies. Get your bloods done and understanding them fully in what you can do to make them better is so important otherwise your just pissing in the wind

If you have any smaller stacks I’d favour that for lying.
You can always try and see if it feels great for you.
But I’d tend to go with different variations in this case – DB Y raise, single cuffed lateral, DB lateral (standing or seated) you can always add some holds / squeezes to make them harder where needed

A lovely day 🙂
Managed to see a friend today for a little dog walk after working snd before training
A great session today – I think the mindset pre training really sets you up for a good or bad session. I know when I go in feeling a little less positive the session doesn’t always feel as firey, so I try to make sure each day I get my mindset sorted before I train.
Rest day tomorrow 🙂

Hey so it’s all super person dependant.
I have some clients who nap for a little before there night shift work to mean they don’t have to eat any extra due to time up being no different or just slightly different.
Other we have a buffer meal which is set based on their current set up (offseaon / prep) just to help whislt they are up for longer

Leg Day today….
I felt really good going into the gym today a nice little sleep and most work for today finished before my session which is always nice for the mind.
Managed 3 plates on my squat which I was super buzzy about. Tomorrow is push day little nervous but excited going into the session as I hit some big numbers on my presses so need to get really in the zone for it

I honestly think you can get in a deep enough if a deficit to drop weight without going carb free if all factors are met effectively e.g. Adherence, fatigue management etc.
Obviously I agree with all the points made above

Hey Guys
Rest day for me – a busy one haha self inflicted busy one,
Started looking for something to wear as we were going for food today and realised i have so many clothes that just don’t fit me anymore (even in prep) so after finishing all my client work and food prep I stripped all the wardrobes 5 black bin bags later and were done.
A nice day then spent seeing family and having food!

HAPPY NEW YEARS DAY!
Definitely very different to a few years ago where I’d be recovering a little more from a heavy late night…but times are different and I’ve got some goals I want to reach before I get a bit old.
First day I’ve ever hit 68kg in my life and body comp is pretty good, I believe after this push up it’ll be time for a little phase of pulling back for body composition and my appetite to make sure I can keep on pushing.
I’ve got to the point in offseason where I am ridiculously hot ALL the time – health is still in a good spot with blood glucose sat at 4.8, resting HR in the 50s which is great for me. So not due to be being unfit just from being bigger and probably due to being on cycle I feel so warm hahahaha. Surely other people feel this way!
Great pull sessions done – rest day tomororwb

Looking at your pics for sure you need to do a little tidy up phase before you go into a real push – if you push from here you’ll just get a little too off mark.
Tidy up before you go into the push – make sure as you go up you build up slowly – keep expenditure in and also make sure off plan meal choices are smart too
Thanks a lot for the advice! Adjusted macros slightly to assist with a tidy up and hopefully maintaining as much muscle and once in a good position look at pushing, maybe aim for 12 weeks from now to really tidy up and get in a good position?[/quote]
Yeah I’d say a good 10-12 weeks should be good don’t mess around with it get the cut done so you can start to push back upMeg Sylvester IFBBPRO

I actually had a boot put on after my cast came off and that’s when I went back to full training – I went more volume on things like leg press and stayed away from any squat movements and found no issues

Happy New Years Eve to everyone 🙂
Hope you all have a fabulous evening celebrating with your loved ones ?
This years been fab and both very challenging at times. Challenging times make us stronger as people and we wouldn’t be who we are without getting through tough times – always remember that.
Into a new year we go.
Oh and a fab push session had – lots of PBs rolling in now
