Hey Michael, how is your cycle at the moment? And I suggest your chest work ist really low volume is this because of you chest is a strength body part or because of recovery? I train also ppl and have 2 press movements for chest, one for shoulder most of the time, one Tri press and then 1 ISO for chest it is might to much chest press work? Thanks buddy

Hy kevin! Do you want to know my training cycle or my drug cycle? Drugs is just 200mg of test a week. I would consider that as a very high trt therapy but there is no need to take more atm because i feel amazing. I feel strong and i have no competitions planned.
Yes, you’re right. My chest volume is that low because i would say my chest is my strongest bodypart. Most of the time i just do 1 heavy pressing movement for 2 sets for fun. And i don’t like to do more because it would take away ability to recover when i want to hit my weaker body parts with more volume.

I would say, most of my answers in bbing, it depends. When you are able to progress in those lifts, you feel your pecs working and they are visibly growing. Yeah that sounds great. If you do it just to silence your conscience to do more volume – no! Do you know what i mean mate?
You alawys have to reflect for yourself: does this work what i’m doing right know for my individual goals.

It depends how important a good equipped gym is in your life. You have to consider that you need to get there and also back. So just travelling to the gym will cost you about 1h 15min. Which is pretty much. You have to know if it is worth the travell. Also the costs for gas etc. Do you have any good alternatives closer?

Thanks alot for the answer. I currently travel by public transport  so cost is really not an issue. I have another gym closer by and its really subpar. For example the smith machine was not bolted on to the floor, and it moved while i was doing incline bench. But maybe ill give to longer distance gym a go and change to the closer one if the travel time seems like too much. [/quote]
Back in the days when i did not have a family, kid, animals etc i often travelled up to 45min for a good workout. Now i’m happy to have my own gym just 500m away from my home because now i don’t want to loose so much time just travelling

Yes, Clare nailed everything! But you have to drink a lot more during your session! Maybe also add a little bit of salt to your pre workout!

Yeah i definitely agree i usually do drink atleast a litre during my session but the pre workout was making me feel that sick the taste of the sweetness of my intra was making me wanna be sick any time i tasted lol. Think i need to buy a litre bottle so my eaas and dextrin dont taste as sweet

When i drink an intra i mix it in at least 1 1/2 litres of water. Most of the time 2L. It digests a lot better.

I would take maybe a few days of deload when your performance is suffering and/or add aditional rest days! For myself training 4 times a week is optimal. 6 days a week is just to much for me. When you feel your performance is suffering on pull days take an extra day off before your pull session!

I think it also depends on your individual structure. Some machines fit your structure just better than others and it’s easier to stabilize.

Depends on your individual ability to recover. The stronger you get, the more rest you will need.

Your planned split fits me very well

When you are not completely recovered again – always rest
