    I agree
But for some of us it’s very hard to give up so we try and mitigate the risk by educating ourselves and staying as healthy as possible.

The oil from the shot is stuck in the muscle it seems, try a hot water bottle or hot bath and see if it helps. Anti inflammatory may also help. If you get a fever then you may have cellulitis or even an abcess and you will need to go to A & E for antibiotics in the first instance.

Definitely rotate your sites buddy. Try http://www.spotinjections.com for help.

Is it a tension headache? If so I get these and have done for many years. I find a session at my chiropractor helps to sort this out and it’s due to too much tension in my traps. Sometimes sitting or lying in awkward positions causes it too.

Sounds like a Paul borreson style cycle. He was an advocate of SHIC – short high intensity cycle. His famous one was 1 ml of sust a day for 21 days. I’ve a book of his with many of this kind of cycle. The science behind it is interesting but most probably outdated. All I will say is any high dose sust course is going to see you gain a lot of water but then maybe that’s the logic behind it….

James can you explain abit in depth what you have done throughout offseason / prep to keep waist tight? You train abs every other day… any preferred exercises, techniques etc?

    What about vacuum training?

    Thanks

vacummes in between sets of and for 20 seconds

    4 sets of abs eod

one day crunch one say raises and rotate

also only eat when you need to .. that’s the main culprit for a blown out waistline… compiling food when the digestive track isn’t ready .. monitoring BG helps this i find

Do you find tracking bg and only eating when hungry has seen you eat less than perhaps before when you weren’t tracking it?

Also just seen your vid on insta with some crazy lifts, you are one strong bastard!

I’ve used a whey protein and a pre workout of theirs, flavour was awful. Wouldn’t use again.

I would advise doing 6-9 for your first set then back down the weight and go for a 10-15

I wouldn’t do a higher rep set first then go for your top set, you’ll lose strength that way from being fatigued from the first higher rep set

On the loading set at what rep range would you increase the weight? I know Dante increases when he can do 13 perfect reps. Cheers

Test and gh alone would be nice to begin with, since these are naturally occurring in the body anyway. Maybe run this for 3 months and build from there when things plateau add in another compound etc. Make the most gains with the least is my thinking especially after such a break.

No to the heart palpitations that sounds more anxiety based. You sure it’s test and not Eq or tren?

No probs and believe me as someone who has done bro split since I started bodybuilding in 2005 it takes a while to get used to this style of training but the gains come thick and fast and you will soon realise that this is THE only way to train.
